For additional coverage and wear, buff Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 onto skin using the 159S Brush before applying the powder.|To use as a setting powder, apply with the 240S Brush to your T-zone area and the 187S Brush all over the face.

Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

Comments about N5
I am so sad. I have attempted to give this new formula a shot multiple times and am still not satisfied. The old formula used to last me months and this one is so delicate and cheap I have run out and had to order another as soon as I get my hands on this item. It is so hard to get a hold of shade N5. Refills were supposed to be cheaper and I am paying about the same for product that runs out so much quicker than before. My skin is also not happy with this product either. My run does run oily and although the product runs matte - it is not doing it for my skin. My skin is more congested with this product for sure.
Just okay..

I've been using the studio fix powder plus foundation since 2006. It has always been amazing, full coverage, kept my oily skin under control, and would last a 12 hr day. Now... not so much. A few hours in, and my face is oily, needs to be touched up a few times a day. The formula is certainly NOT the same, and it's really disappointing.
Disappointing
I have been using Max studio fix for ever and this formula is so different than the original. It is not long wearing, doesn't look as nice on the skin. The shade names don't match up with the old ones, but I actually did find a new shade that I liked, which is a pro… I used it as my touchup powder because it was OK for that but not good for the first application of the day. Unfortuatly it somehow completely shattered in my purse and made the biggest mess ever got all over me, my car and purse. This has never happened and I always brought studio fix with me in every purse, it was my touchup powder and my original application of the day powder and this has never happened until now so, not durable very disappointing.
Used MAC for 30 years...no longer!
Been a loyal customer of MAC for 30 yrs.Their product & company have greatly changed. They changed their products as of August, reduced amount you receive & completely changed their color line without telling customers.Dont buy the color you used to!!
Changed Formula
I cannot begin to describe my devastation that this formula has changed. As someone who gets nasty breakouts every now and then, this was the only product that made it disappear. I understand they had to get rid of the talc due to upcoming beauty laws, but this new formulation was clearly rushed. P.S. talc is not dangerous. What makes talc dangerous is the cheap sourcing of it which contains other chemicals. Brands are too cheap to source clean, high quality talc. Hence why nothing has talc anymore, and none of us oily skin girls can find good powders. One of the few powders that still has talc, is the Laura Mercier loose powder (talc is the reason its so beloved) Bring. Back. Talc!!!
