New formula is not good

Intentional typos made because apparently I am not allowed to write out the name of prescription medications or names of stores here I have been using the old formula double wear almost daily for the past 5 years, before that it was saved for occasions where I desperately needed to hide old eczema ...scars on my face (started using it regularly due being able to afford to use it as my go to foundation /had too many bad reactions to other "high end" and drugstore foundations). the new formula gave me eczema flares on all areas of my face where I don't concentrate my primer application - one week was all it took to get painful stinging and oozing blisters around my eyes, hairline, and jawline. so yayyy now I will have even more areas on my face that I will need to cover up. and with there being no light at the end of my tunnel/my so far fruitless journey of finding the right replacement foundation my skin and sanity are very much screwed right now. and of course my shade is the only one not available in estee lauder's 'last chance' section of their store. to find relief from my skin's reaction to the new double wear formula I had to double my hum1ra dose, thus risking my own health by suppressing my immune system more than ever, and I had to use way too much tacr0limus ointment which (just fyi) is an effective non steroid ointment that is toxic to cats if orally consumed - so I had to neglect my pets and foster cats by not allowing them near me or giving them any physical affection until the stinging subsided enough that I didn't need to use the ointment. I did not have to do this kind of prescription medicine routine ever since I started using the old formula exclusively. the old formula was perfect - did not accentuate pores or fine line, stayed matte/did a darn tootin (yes I did want to type out the so called curse word version of the name the man/beaver made structure that holds back running river water but the review overlords won't let me) good job of minimizing oil all day with no oxidizing, and required an extremely small amount to get the perfect medium coverage that let my freckles show through while also hiding all my eczema scars, which was previously only severe around my mouth, chin, and nose. new formula does none of that at all, and even 4 layers did not provide the same medium coverage as the old formula, each layer only made it more oompa loompa orange - very not good for trying to cover newly healed scars that are still very red (if you're asking why don't I just use a green color correcter it's because with the old formula I didn't even need to use concealer 75% of the time, so why would I start using color correcter, concealer, and foundation now??). using the new formula also took over an hour to apply due to layering and drying time. using the old formula took me less than 30 minutes to have a full face of makeup done (and half of that time was absolutely wasted on applying mascara because I frequently accidentally stab myself in the eye and create a long but necessary clean up job for myself, lol). new formula is also SUPER orange, great for Donald Trump cosplayers but not great for everyday wear. I swatched the old and new formulas on my arm to compare them then used a paper towel to wipe them off after they dried down. the new formula came off with little friction, the old would not budge and I was too lazy to use makeup remover, that old formula survived on my arm for multiple days through dirt and sweat, even a full shower with excessive body wash scrubbing and I still needed to use an oil based makeup remover to get the last bits of it off of my arm. new formula just needed to be wiped with a dry paper towel so I think that says enough about it's staying power ... RIP old double wear formula, you helped me survive so many humiliating hormonal acne breakouts when I stopped taking birth control pills, you made it look like I never had severe eczema on my face, and without a doubt you helped conceal every single bad reaction I have ever had when I stupidly experimented with anti aging treatments that turned my skin into a dry and scaley wasteland. and RIP to what was left of my confidence because I have wasted $200+on new foundations (huda, Laura mercier, dior, fenty, one/size, bare minerals, and nars - not included is literally every other foundation you can test in person at s3phora stores which I couldn't find a good shade match for or saw that they had ingredients I knew would irritate my skin) in hopes that they'd help me hate my face less but alas none have even come close to being as good as the old double wear foundation - Laura mercier had the best shade match for 1W0 but it does not dry down on its own (I tested this by applying it to a piece of plastic and it still has not dried after 1 week, same goes for huda and dior but those are not the best shade matches, will test other foundations now & will update if I can). it is going to cost so much financially and mentally to recover from these new foundation trial and mainly only errors (millennial here internally screaming FML)
