I did my usual skincare before priming and compared the E.L.F. on my left to the Milk in my right. I couldn't tell a difference.

This primer works really good for anyone that has oily skin. The primer glides on so effortlessly and really does mattify and reduce my pores for a smooth finish once my concealer and foundation was applied.I also like that it's a very nice sized bottle and reasonably priced .I received this product...

elf is great but I would not repurchase this
I have acne prone oily skin. I bought this recently from Ulta thinking it would be great because the OG power grip primer is good, but the matte was not. I put a decent amount all over my face and put my usual base on. The makeup would come off entirely in my nose area when I would blend it or set it with powder. I do not recommend it.

The gel texture feels light but dries down with just enough tackiness to lock in foundation like a magnet. What I really love is the way it smooths out pores without making my skin feel dry or tight. I've found it works best when I let it sit for a minute before applying foundation, giving it time to set properly. It definitely helps my makeup last longer, though if you prefer a softer hydration, you might like the original Power Grip better.
