Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

So disappointed
Ive been using this powder for 15 ish years it was THAT GOOD. I wouldnt even try anything else even for fun bc I was that satisfied with this powder. The new formula is quite literally trash, I gave it a try in the new colors and it was so flakey my bf even noticed how bad it was. For those looking for an alternative, after a few trials and a few hundred dollars later (UGH thanks Mac) I have settled on the estee lauder powder. Its not exact but its much better than whatever this new formula is.
I would by this again
Needed something I can apply quick for my dark circles under my eyes

This powder is great for those looking for a natural skin finish. I could see this working for a quick one and done base product due to its buildable nature. I have oily skin so the powder doesn't hold oil really well due to the lack of talc. I also find that with frequent use you'll burn through the powder really quick. I think this powder would be nice for dryer skin types. If you're oily you might be blotting your skin every hour or so. I use the shade NC15
Why did they change this??

I have been using this foundation for more than 10 years. The new formula is terrible....why did it need changed? The colors are not the same...noted. But the shade finder recommendation aren't even close either. This is now a very dry powder that doesn't blend with your skin at all. Looking for a new powder foundation :(
Awful!
This was my go to powder foundation but this new formula is horrible. The color range is way off… oxidizes horribly on me and I looked like an Oompa-Loompa (even exchanged for a different shade to try to give it a chance and it happened with the lighter shade as well). This doesnt blur like before and the coverage is lacking … you have to build it up and still doesnt cover like before (I got beautiful blurred coverage in one swipe). It doesnt stay on me (I use primer and setting spray) so I looked like a patchy orange mess! Time to find a replacement. Why do they have to change a good thing….
