Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

Imagine having flawless skin for 25 years thanks to studio fix NC25 during the winter, NC30 in the summer. The combination of foundation and powder blended into a super product covering every flaw on your face is now a thing of the past. Why would you do this to us? Now it's just a dry, unflattering, unmatched, pressed powder that ends up on my lap instead of my face. I guess the trend now is building products to achieve what once studio fix had in one compact. Please consider bringing back what used to be the most legendary product of all time.

I have been using this as my primary foundation for more years than I can remember. It's smooth and not heavy so there's no creasing. I never need to touch up.
Bring back the old formula!

I am extremely disappointed that this product is trying to be even remotely labeled as close to the old Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. As a MAC customer of over 20 years you have lost me. Firstly, the colors are completely off and the shade matcher online is incorrect, I then had to make a trip in store to find a new shade that matched and even then it was grasping at straws to get a similar match. The amount of fallout from the product is ridiculous and then coverage is laughable. I don't have wrinkles and the way this caked on my skin was disappointing. I don't want MAC to be the "clean" brand. I want the coverage! I can accept colors being removed, changes at a minimum but this was the last product that kept me coming in. At this point I will be finding a clean brand that does a better job than this new Studio Fix Powder claims to do.
Not the same
I have been using this product for as long as I can remember and now they switched the formula so the color and coverage are different. Coverage is terrible and has to be reapplied throughout the day. The compact used to last much longer than it does now. This is the last one i will be buying.
MAC Ruined a Cult Classic!

I'm so disappointed in MAC for changing the Studio Fix Powder formula and taking 0.10 oz of product away. How do you mess with something that was already so successful? This powder had a cult following for a reason, it worked! So why change it!?!? This is the only face product I have used for YEARS! I don't wear liquid foundation at all . Studio Fix Powder was my go to everyday powder foundation. The old formula gave real, reliable coverage. The new one? It's just not the same. The coverage is lighter, it doesn't wear the same, and it doesn't give that flawless finish I relied on for years. I've been reading the other negative reviews and clearly I'm not alone. So many loyal customers are saying the same thing, and I really hope MAC wakes up, listens, and goes back to the original formula , and gives us back the full amount of product we used to get. Taking away 0.10 oz might not sound like much to the company, but for customers it absolutely is. It seems like you're shortening months of use for people who depend on this powder daily. Shockingly, within just a couple weeks the bottom of the compact was already visible. With the old formula, that didn't happen for months. It honestly feels like MAC is just trying to save a buck, and longtime customers are paying the price. Please fix this. PLEASE bring back the original formula, restore the original amount, and stop changing products that didn't need fixing in the first place.
