Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

Hate the new formula
Absolutely hate the new formula. The colors settle extremely organge and powder also settles blotched and patchy and not smooth at all
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
I understand the old formula is never coming back due to ingredients being banned in the near future but what I DON'T understand is how the shades are so off from the previous formula. I used to be NC35 in the OG formula. The new formula had my face looking like I rubbed cheeto dust and self tanner on it after trying NC35, NC30, and NC27. I think N6.5 may be a match but even that is pulling just a tad orange/warm; maybe it will work better as a summer shade. I tried N6 but it's way too light. IDK, I think I am just going to stick to my Lancome liquid teint idole.
Shades have changed
MAC went through a reformulation resulting in a difference in shades. I'm a NC25, and recently bought a NC25. It came in, and I was shocked at how much darker and orange the new NC25 is. The new packaging is sleek and lovely, but I am disappointed. Also, the older powder was 15 grams and the new one is 12 grams.
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
I love Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. It creates a good coverage and feels light on your face.
The worst powder I have ever used
I used the old studio fix powder and loved it. It had a beautiful finish, and you didn't need a lot for it to give you good coverage. The new formula is horrible. The shades are all orange/yellow, and the product is so soft that even a little knick with your fingernail and it gouges out the product. I took it with my in my purse for touching up on the go, and it shattered. My mom didn't even like hers, so she gave it to me, and after using for a couple days it has already hit pan. You need a ridiculous amount to get the same payoff you got with one swipe of the original. I hate this powder so much.
