Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush.
To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.

I have worn Mac Studio Fix powder for over 5 years, and it has clearly been my GO-TO powder for years. The new formula is nothing like the old. The leaves' faces are shiny, all of the shades have too much orange in them now, the shades are NOT what they were. Not to mention, I've had the one I have now for 2 weeks and have already hit pan!! The old ones lasted me a good 12 weeks if not longer! sooo disappointed in this, MAC.

The NEW powder is a completely different color than the NW20 I've used for 20 years. Product itself does not last as long, need to purchase replenishment more frequently. Not impressed with this change.

Mac, please bring back the old formula. I hate the new formula. Its enhancing the texture, fine lines and the new shade is also not a match. I am NC41 and NC40 is not at all close to my skin. The new formula is not recommended for dry skin girls, since it doesn't have foundation plus powder finish to it.

Unfortunately my most beloved product has taken a turn for the worse. The new shades are very orange. It doesn't have the same coverage. There is tons of fall out, so the product goes very quickly - which would mean buying more often. I've never gone through a compact of studio fix this fast ever in my life and this is a product I've used daily for almost 20 years. There's a lot more creasing which never happened before, in fact people would compliment how great my skin was thinking I wasn't even wearing foundation but that's all over now. Truly heartbreaking trying to find a replacement.

I am not sure why MAC changed their old formula with this new formula. I have oily skin and this new formula shifts my foundation within 2 hours. I need to know where to purchase all of the NW 50 of the d formula. This use too be my favorite setting powder and now it's not.
