Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

Colors are all different. Why mess with a good thing? Now to find a different one. What a pain.

Comments about N4
I've been using MAC Studio Fix for over 25 years and have always loved it. Unfortunately, the new packaging is terrible; within a few days the powder fell out and cracked making it a complete waste of money. The formula also doesn't seem the same as before; it doesn't apply or look as good. I hope MAC listens to longtime customers and returns to the original packaging and formula that made this product so reliable. Until then… I am on the search for a new powder.
I would not buy again
I would not buy mac from ulta again i would but at the mac it was darker than what I normally get. Not sure why, the same foundation number from the mac store was lighter and truer to my color tone

Comments about NC18
I've been using MAC for over 20yrs. This has been my holy grail for foundation powder. I knew this day was going to come where they'd change it. This new powder seems to not stay on as long. I feel like I have to apply it more now throughout the day. I used to wear NC25. I went to NC20 like it recommended but it's still too dark. Moved to NC 18 and it's still not right. My clumsy self accidentally dropped the compact twice and both times it shattered in a million pieces. Which is my fault I dropped it, but I have done this so many times with the old version and it never fell apart like this powder does. It's way lighter weight and softer than the original. Which could be a good thing but not when you drop it. If only MAC could make it last longer than I'd embrace the new formula. Having to reapply more often means I'm buying it sooner than normal. With the cost going up, I'm glad they made a refill version. Even though it seems my "color" has been on back order every time I reorder so I end up buying a new one anyways. Sigh. I'll always love you MAC and willing to ride out this change. ❤️
Used for over 20 years - Not the same anymore
The recommendation for my new color was not correct as it is darker than my summer color. I ran through to the bottom in only a couple weeks instead of months, you have to use so much more for similar coverage, and it is so much looser now - messy!
