Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

It took years to find a foundation that matched my skin tone perfectly. I've been a loyal customer ever since. The discontinued cream concealer was a small hit because I found another brand to compensate for that but I'm a little disappointed in the quality in the new studio fix powder. It's messy and gets all over my counter and clothes when applying and I know times are tough but I don't want to assume it's a technique for us to consume more product because it's wasteful, thus causing it to run out more often so we have to purchase more. Anywho the point is I hope mac goes back to the non-messy formula so me and I'm sure other loyal clients who I'm sure have noticed the same issue, won't have to jump ship to another brand.

I have wore the same powder for 20 years. I always loved it now you changed it and I hate it the powder's thinner. Normally it lasted me way longer. It does not do the same coverage. I'm highly disappointed that they changed everything about it.

Since 2002 this has been my go to for performances. 1000s of them. And now- with the new formula that's drying and too powdery- I need to give my once beloved studiofix the heave-ho. Terrible formulation change. All you needed to do was add more colors to the lineup, not change the formula.
Excellent
Love this. It blends into my complexion well
New Formula
The new formula is horrible!!! I need to find me a new powder foundation after YEARS of using this one.
