Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush.
To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.

Same Name, Very Different Product
I've used MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation for years, but this new formula missed the mark. First off, the application now feels like drugstore makeup, and not in a charming, "hidden gem" kinda way. It's so powdery that half of it ends up in the air instead of on my face. Apply it sitting down and your lap will get full coverage too. My old compact lasted 2+ months. This one? Less than a month with the same routine. And the shades are completely different now. If you haven't bought it in a while, color match in-store unless you enjoy expensive surprises. Overall, this reformulation feels like a downgrade in texture, performance, and value.
Why Ruin A Great Product
Why would you ruin something that was amazing?! The colors don't match anymore and it feels cakey to me now. Extremely disappointed when I ordered my usual color and received oompa loompa orange!! If it aint broke don't fix it. Big mistake on this one!
New formula is horrible
Absolutely not. First off, they changed the colors. Mine is usually NC 35 but now it's completely orange. I had to go into the store to color match but the new formula itself is horrible. Sorry, but MAC got it all wrong this time which I'm really sad about because I've used this make up for over 30 years. :( I'm gonna have to try to find a new pressed powder because this is not it.
It's ok but nothing beats the old formula
Ive used Stufio fix since I was in high school in early 2000s and its never failed me . My last old formula compact lasted me almost a year as I mainly use it for touch ups …this new one hasnt even gone a few months before being almost gone and it broke when the rim got about a half inch from end. It took me trying four colors to find one even close to my old color (still not exact). Im super sad over the fallout with the less product together while its price point is almost 40$. I never even paid attention to the price before cause I loved it and now I cringe at it especially knowing it may break and doesnt last half as long . Bad move MAC … I'll never understand why companies change things that arent broken …and though I may repurchase as I hate havibg to find new matches products it probably wont be for long …
My favorite foundation!
