For additional coverage and wear, buff Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 Foundation onto skin before applying the powder.

First Powder Foundation & Impressed
So I received this product through Top Box. I'm not an influencer and I don't create UGC, so I was thrilled when I received this product for so many reasons. I have sensitive skin, am allergy prone, sweat even when I shouldn't be, pale with freckles, deep rosy cheeks, and... I still haven't *the one...

Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

New Formula Sucks
Why, why, why? Why would you fix something or try to make something better that is already perfect? The new formula sucks!! I see im not the only one who thinks this. Ive wasted so much of this product because the makeup becomes so loose as soon as my brush makes one swipe. The old formula lasted me a good 5-6 months, im needing a new compact every 2-3 months, no thank you! Im so sad, this was my favorite makeup and I was a dedicated hard core MAC customer, but not anymore, just please, bring back the old formula!!!!!!
miss old formula
the old formula was so much better, the new formula has so much dust that kicks up when using a brush to apply or just in general
I miss the old formula
I have tried to like the new formula, but I hate it. I go through the new formula much faster. There is less product, I have to use more product than before, and there is so much dusty kickback.
Not good
I do not like the new formulation. It is sticky and balmy.
Blown away as a former MAC employee
I am a former MAC employee 20 years ago, who used to use the OG formula for the longest time. I have stopped using Studio Fix awhile back but I found a sample in my drawer recently. I do see how people complained about the shades not matching up. I used to use NC30 and now I'm NC40. I finally decided to use the sample I had and I am so in love with it. No, I'm obsessed with it! I tried with the sponge that came with it but it was depositing my oil into it. So I removed it with some tape with no problem, which was the trick I learned when I was working at MAC. I grabbed a powder brush and started tap on my face and it looked so blurring on my pores. I've tried so many powders over the years from the high end, Givenchy, Nars, Huda beauty, Laura Mercier to the Drug store brands like Maybelline Infallible, Fit me, Wet n wild Photofocus and e.l.f. You name it, I've tried it but now Studio Fix is going back on my top of the list!! It's blurring yet looks so natural and I was able to build the coverage!! I am beyond thrilled!
