Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

The MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NW46 is fantastic! I love the coverage it provides, especially for such a lightweight powder. It gives me a natural look that I really appreciate. The finish is smooth and blends well with my skin tone. I found that it lasts a long time without needing touch-ups. It's easy to apply with either a brush or a sponge, and it's buildable and highly pigmented with a matte finish. Since I have combination skin, I particularly value its shine resistance. The compact itself looks very sophisticated. I highly recommend this 2-in-1 foundation! I received this product for free from MAC for testing and review purposes.

I love this powder foundation. My favorite part is that it is talc free and the texture is so velvety and soft, it just glides on your skin like butter! It blends beautifully with my skin and perfect for using own its own or with another foundation! I received this product for free from MAC for testing and review purposes.
Reformulated 2025 is terrible compared to the old

I have a birthmark on my face which the old version of the powder plus foundation powder covered perfectly, looked natural, and lasted a long time. The reformulated version not only has terrible shades that no longer match my skin tone, but it looks like actual powder sitting on top of the skin ...not natural looking & easy or as long lasting as the old formula whatsoever. I wish you could go back to the old kind somehow as I need a quick & easy powder to pop on like the old one, but I know that never happens. Unfortunately I am now looking elsewhere for one that will do the same as the MAC old formula did for me. Sad!
Didn't like it.
The lady at Ulta recommended this to me. She match this to my skin but when I got home put it ion. It's way too dark. Then she proceeded to say go to Somerset and get matched. Which I thought was r rude.
