Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush.
To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.
For additional coverage and wear, buff Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 onto skin using the 159S Brush before applying the powder.|To use as a setting powder, apply with the 240S Brush to your T-zone area and the 187S Brush all over the face.

I have been wearing this shade for over 15 years and love it. Just bought a new one and it's not even close in the same shade and the coverage is bad! I am very sad because now I have to find another brand to try and match my old shade.

I have been using studio fix powder for 20 years and always get the shade NC30. My recent order I received they must have changed their shades because it is at least three shades darker than it normally is. Super disappointed… I don't even know what shade I would use now.

Sorry, not sorry but I've been wearing the studio fix ever since high school and so has all my friends. We love it! It is full coverage. It lasts all day and the color matches are perfect perfection. But this new change just doesn't make sense! Not only it's not full coverage, but it is not from mature skin at all! It seems to all your wrinkles and magnifies them! And don't get me started on the color match… absolutely crap!!! i've tried the whole lot and it's either too dark, two pink or two yellow on my skin. Not happy AT ALL with the change. Hopefully we can get our old formula back because this new one completely sucks!

I have been using Mac Studio Fix powder for so many years and I was extremely satisfied with this product. Unfortunately I have noticed that Mac has changed their product and because of that the texture and shade of this powder was also changed. I been using NC35 for so many years and I was pleased with the shade color and texture. But the new powder foundation not only looks caky on my face but also the color is more yellow/ orange. I'm extremely disappointed.

I usually don't like writing negative reviews, but after using the original studio fix powder for 15+ years I feel like I need to. I wish I would've known that Mac was planning to discontinue the original studio fix powder because I would've really stocked up of the original formula. This new formula is more orangey and the consistency of the powder is strange. When I use a brush to pick up the product from the compact, it leaves small round crumbs of product. It's been a hassle trying to match my new color for the new formula. I am normally NC 40 so naturally when I ran out, I ordered the new version with the same color. I was very shocked to find out that the color was very dark and orange on me. I had to return the one that I purchased online andwent to the store to get color matched. In store they said I am NC 30 but it still doesn't look quite like my natural complexion and it still looks off from the original NC 40 color. This has been a nightmare of a process that I never thought I had to deal with again. I'm very disappointed.
