    How To Use

Saturate hair with water, and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.

    Pro Tips:

    • Make sure enough product is being used. Hair should be saturated and product should be combed roots to ends.
    • Yellow/ brassy blonde tones may play in effect with end result depending on Color + chosen.
    • Silver, Silver Blue, Light Pink and Platinum are geared towards the light blondes.
    • The Silver may turn a greenish hue IF the hair has any yellow tones, Platinum will brighten blonde hair, Silver Blue will counter any brassy/orange tones.

Precaution: This product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary patch and strand test should be performed before use. This product must not be used for dying the eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse immediately with water if eye contact occurs.Direct Dyes should not be removed with ammonia/peroxide. If you are making a drastic color change, consult a salon professional.

    Q
can red color and conditioner be used on pure white hair?
    Asked by Barbara
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Yes — they can be used on pure white hair, but the results will likely be very intense, depending on your hair’s porosity and overall health. If your hair is highly porous or damaged, it may absorb the color darker, brighter, or more unevenly. We always recommend doing a strand test to determine processing time and the number of applications needed to achieve your desired tone and color before applying it to your entire head. We hope this helps! Please email us at info@keracolorhair.com if you need further assistance. Thank you.Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Does the purple have cool undertones, as in, when I decide to lighten my hair in the future will it leave blue/green pigments in my hair? I had this experience with another "purple" color depositing conditioner and would like to know before purchasing.
    Asked by Purple
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi! Great question — and thanks so much for reaching out to us. 😊 If you are using our Purple on blonde hair-, it doesn’t turn blue. As it fades, it might leave a light lavender tint. If I misunderstood your question, please feel free to clarify — I’m happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

One reviewer stated that you shouldnt use this on grey hair. Does the package state why? Im wanting to cover my natural greys, the rest is natural black. I have not box dyed my hair in years so theres no risk of prior color interfence. Just curious, if this is true.

A Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! Keracolor Clenditioners are semi-permanent color depositing, so they are not formulated to provide gray coverage. Gray hair typically requires permanent pigments for coverage. While Clenditioners can be used on gray hair, we generally don’t recommend it, as results can vary widely. Everyone’s gray hair is different, and the outcome can depend on factors such as hair texture, porosity, and the specific shade used. We hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com. Best regards, The Keracolor TeamWas this answer helpful to you

    Q
Hello, I have dark brown hair and recently highlighted it. It seemed to be fading already and much lighter than I wanted. Can I use the mocha kera color and help it tone down?
    Asked by Eva
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! Our Mocha, Espresso, and Onyx shades are not recommended for hair that has highlights, as they are cooler-toned colors. When applied to highlighted or blonde hair, the blue undertones in these shades can mix with the yellow in the hair, which may result in unwanted green tones. If you have highlighted hair and are looking to go a bit darker, we recommend doing a “fill” first using our Mocha Latte shade. This helps replace the warm undertones that blonde hair is missing, allowing the Mocha shade to appear true to color rather than looking off. This is also why we always recommend seeking professional salon assistance when making drastic color changes or working with highlighted hair, as a stylist can help ensure the best and most accurate results. If you have any additional questions, I'm a licensed cosmetologist, feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com — we’re always happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

How fast does it fade?? Does it fade fully??
    Asked by Esther
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi! Great question—thank you so much for reaching out to us. It really depends on several factors, including how healthy your hair is, its level of porosity, your hair care routine, and how often you wash it. Some colors fade out completely, while others may leave a slight stain depending on the hair. Because everyone’s hair is different, it’s hard to say with 100% certainty whether it will fade out fully, but these factors all play a role. Is the "Cinnamon" a Cool or Warm tone? I need a warm color for my Level 7 highlights that the salon glossed with Copper. I love Copper so much. I love a brown-copper more than an orange or gold copper. Because my skin tone is neutral and beige/peachy I need warm that comes from red, not yellow to make me glow. II am unsure whether to pick the Cinnamon or the Copper. And even perhaps mixing one of those two with Mocha Latte because I like Copper that is Brown Dominant with a kiss of red. Thank you!

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us! Cinnamon leans more red, while Copper is more orange—both are warm-toned pigments. If you visit our website and click on the SHOP tab, then head to the Naturals collection, you’ll be able to view the Copper and Red swatches there for a closer comparison. Hi! I have naturally "black" hair, and I dyed my hair red about 3 times with box dye, and it has now faded into a very warm medium-dark brown. Is this going to work for my hair if I want it to look the same color as my natural color all over? Does it strip any color or lighten at all? Would espresso or onyx be better for natural black/dark brown hair?

From Keracolor website "Espresso- a warmer, rich dark brunette color that looks beyond gorgeous! While this is a warmer tone.." I want a dark brunette color but espresso it too warm. Mocha is the perfect cool tone I need, but it's too light. Would mixing onyx with mocha give me the dark cool tone I'm looking for?
    Asked by Bestcl
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us—great question! Our Espresso shade is a blue-based, cooler tone, similar to Mocha. If you find it’s not dark enough, you can mix Espresso with Onyx, Mocha, or another shade to create your desired color. We recommend doing a strand test first to determine the correct ratio, processing time, and number of applications needed before applying it all over your head. We hope this helps! Q
I'm trying to match my hair color to my extensions better. The Espresso color is the perfect shade of darkness, but its too warm toned. I used mocha which is the cool tone I need, but it's too light. Should i mix onyx with mocha to make it the darker cool toned color i need? Trying to figure out which colors to mix to get a deep dark cool toned brown.
    Asked by Clbest
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out—great question. Espresso is actually a cool tone shade. Mocha, Espresso, and Onyx are all cool-toned, while Mocha Latte is the only warm tone shade among the browns. That said, our Clenditioners are designed to be mixed and matched, allowing you to create virtually any color and shade. We always recommend doing a test strand first to determine the ideal ratio, processing time, and number of applications needed to achieve your desired color and tone before applying it to your entire head. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, we’re always here to help. Thank you!Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I had my brown hair bleached platinum blonde. Then I put the purple clenditioner on it. It is fabulous! I repeated the process for about 4 more shampoos getting a richer purple everytime. Now I'm ready for a change. I've washed it twice with regular shampoo and it is starting to fade. Can I put a new color (hot pink) on to of what is left of the purple? What color will I end up with?
    Asked by Ruleonard
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, great question—and thank you for reaching out to us. Color results can vary when layering different shades on top of each other. Hair color outcomes are often unpredictable because everyone’s hair is different in terms of health, porosity, and whether it has been chemically or color treated. For best results, we recommend removing as much of the unwanted pigment as possible first by using a color-removing shampoo like Fade Effect Shampoo. After that, you can apply the hot pink. This will allow the color to take more evenly and appear less altered by any remaining pigment. If you’re not super picky about the final result and there is still a little lavender left in your hair, applying the hot pink may result in a more magenta-toned shade. I can assist you better if I’m able to see photos of your hair. If possible, please email a few photos to info@keracolorhair.com. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions—we’re happy to help. Thank you!Was this answer helpful to you

    Silver Blue Is Not Good

I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

I have been using this for over five years and it deserves a higher rating than it gets. My color is so good, all the time, I am constantly getting compliments on it. I apply it to my naturally blonde hair after a 10 minute soap cap once every six weeks, let it set for five minutes, rinse it out, and I'm good to go. I reapply every fourth shampoo (with no soap cap first) to keep it vibrant because I like bright color, but the natural fade of it is also beautiful. My hair is soft and shiny and lightweight and my scalp is clean. This is an excellent product!

I have tried other conditioners with color and they do not work as well as this one!! I had a balayage and missed my natural dark brown hair so i first deposited the copper clenditioner washed and dried it and directly applied the espresso clenditioner on dry hair and it transformed my hair !! If you have blonde hair it says to specifically not use the brown colors because it WILL turn ur hair green you MUST deposit an orange or red on the blonde hair to get to brown!! I also love that this product lasts a long time, I use it maybe once every 2 months and I don't even dye it with normal dye anymore cuz this product is amazing! Leaves my hair soft and i dont have to deal with the hassle and damage box dyes give and i dont have to pay a bunch of money at the salon :)
