Saturate hair with water, and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.
Pre-caution: This product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary test should first be made according to accompanying directions. Wash hands thoroughly after use. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows. To do so may cause blindness. Rinse immediately with water if eye contact occurs. The amount of time the product will last in hair is dependent on the condition and porosity of the hair, and the intensity of the shade. Lighter colors tend to fade out faster, like Light Pink, Rose Gold and Mint. The more stubborn shades are the Blues, Espresso, Onyx, Purples, and Teals which tend to stay in hair the longest. If your hair is damaged and very processed, you may see a much longer fade out process. For the more stubborn shades, a direct dye remover may be needed. The mocha is best used to enhance hair that is medium blonde or a light brown and would not be a great option to use on highlighted hair or to cover up highlights. Hey there! My hair is a dark brown with some gray roots. I usually color it every 2 to 3 months, but I'm looking for something that doesn't contain any omni-color. I heard about this one color called Espresso, and I'm trying it out. I've used it both on dry and wet hair, but it doesn't seem to cover the gray hair. If you are using the product to refresh your already colored hair, we recommend using 1 – 2 times a week to refresh the color. If you are starting with no color in the hair, more consecutive washes and longer processing times may be needed. Once you have achieved your desired results, then you can continue to use 1 – 2 times a week to refresh the color. Extends Color
I use this product to keep the color in my hair vibrant between appointments, and its amazing at doing that. I am a natural blonde, but color my hair a cinnamon color and use this every few washes to keep my color nice. I will shampoo my hair, and use the color auburn and copper as my conditioner and let it sit for ~5 minutes. I also make sure to distribute the product with a comb in the shower so I get even color. I will likely try the cinnamon color next. I also love how this feels in my hair - it doesnt weigh down my hair and it feels so soft after I use it!
