Saturate hair with water, and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.

Can I use the onyx color on highlighted blonde hair, and if so will it eventually fade out and return to light brown blonde
- Asked by manda
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi, thanks for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! We don’t recommend using Onyx, Espresso, or Mocha on highlighted hair, as highlighted hair is missing underlying tones and the results can turn an undesirable shade. Was this answer helpful to you

Gray coverage?
- Asked by Tina
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEA Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! Keracolor Clenditioners are semi-permanent color depositing, so they are not formulated to provide gray coverage. Gray hair typically requires permanent pigments for coverage. While Clenditioners can be used on gray hair, we generally don’t recommend it, as results can vary widely. Everyone’s gray hair is different, and the outcome can depend on factors such as hair texture, porosity, and the specific shade used. We hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com. Best regards, The Keracolor TeamWas this answer helpful to you

We recommend using it once a week or every two weeks, depending on your hair’s condition, porosity, and how well it holds color. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

One reviewer stated that you shouldnt use this on grey hair. Does the package state why? Im wanting to cover my natural greys, the rest is natural black. I have not box dyed my hair in years so theres no risk of prior color interfence. Just curious, if this is true.

Hello, I have dark brown hair and recently highlighted it. It seemed to be fading already and much lighter than I wanted. Can I use the mocha kera color and help it tone down?
- Asked by Eva
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi, thank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! Our Mocha, Espresso, and Onyx shades are not recommended for hair that has highlights, as they are cooler-toned colors. When applied to highlighted or blonde hair, the blue undertones in these shades can mix with the yellow in the hair, which may result in unwanted green tones. If you have highlighted hair and are looking to go a bit darker, we recommend doing a “fill” first using our Mocha Latte shade. This helps replace the warm undertones that blonde hair is missing, allowing the Mocha shade to appear true to color rather than looking off. This is also why we always recommend seeking professional salon assistance when making drastic color changes or working with highlighted hair, as a stylist can help ensure the best and most accurate results. If you have any additional questions, I'm a licensed cosmetologist, feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com — we’re always happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
How fast does it fade?? Does it fade fully??
- Asked by Esther
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi! Great question—thank you so much for reaching out to us. It really depends on several factors, including how healthy your hair is, its level of porosity, your hair care routine, and how often you wash it. Some colors fade out completely, while others may leave a slight stain depending on the hair. Because everyone’s hair is different, it’s hard to say with 100% certainty whether it will fade out fully, but these factors all play a role. Please let us know if you have any other questions—we’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

Is the "Cinnamon" a Cool or Warm tone? I need a warm color for my Level 7 highlights that the salon glossed with Copper. I love Copper so much. I love a brown-copper more than an orange or gold copper. Because my skin tone is neutral and beige/peachy I need warm that comes from red, not yellow to make me glow. II am unsure whether to pick the Cinnamon or the Copper. And even perhaps mixing one of those two with Mocha Latte because I like Copper that is Brown Dominant with a kiss of red. Thank you!
- Asked by WeNeedWorldPeaceAgain
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi there, Thank you for reaching out to us! Cinnamon leans more red, while Copper is more orange—both are warm-toned pigments. If you visit our website and click on the SHOP tab, then head to the Naturals collection, you’ll be able to view the Copper and Red swatches there for a closer comparison. We also recommend checking out Auburn, which includes brown tones with a warm base and may be a great option depending on the look you’re going for. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com. We’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

Will the white color work on naturally silver/Gray hair? To make it lighter?
- Asked by Tallulah
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi, thank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question. Our Clenditioners do not lift or lighten the hair. They only deposit color and help tone out unwanted colors. I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Was this answer helpful to you

I have a question can i wash my hair like normal then put this product in my hair to still keep its color?
- Asked by Jazz
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEThanks for reaching out to us—great question! Our Clenditioners are a 3-in-1 product that cleanses, deposits color, and conditions the hair. Hi! I have naturally "black" hair, and I dyed my hair red about 3 times with box dye, and it has now faded into a very warm medium-dark brown. Is this going to work for my hair if I want it to look the same color as my natural color all over? Does it strip any color or lighten at all? Would espresso or onyx be better for natural black/dark brown hair?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal ...

Silver Blue Is Not Good
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

I have bought several colors in this brand. I love that I can just wash this in at any time and it will either increase as I keep using it, or fade if I swap back to "regular" shampoo. My favorites are the hot pink and the lavender. I find blue to be the hardest to "fade" and it turns green on the way to going back to my blonde hair. I've had a good base with the pink, then, use the lavender and it makes it almost iridescent. There's no harsh smell and it doesn't discolor my hands..I use it in the shower, just let it sit on there while you're lathering up or shaving! Easy, breezy!
Sorry not worth it.
The instructions on the back of the bottle were very vague. It says to saturate your hair when you just just get your hair damp or do it dry. Should suggest to use gloves while applying and rinsing out i used the black and it stained everything other than my hair especially my roots. Made them a little darker but definitely not black and i have dark hair which is also dyed black. The conditioning elements in it are fantastic but thats it.
I really like the customization abilities you get with this!

I got the bright pink conditioner to color my peekaboo and it looked so cool!!!! I would absolutely by more colors so I could color my hair if I ever bleach it again! Honestly I recommend it to anyone who is also trying to keep existing color from fading!
HOLY GRAIL
I have been using this for YEARS throughout my 20s with so many different hair colors before I used it for copper highlights, then I went red so I switched to merlot for like a burgundy vibe now I have turned the red up a notch and switching to the red shade! I love this stuff!! Leaves my thick coarse wavy hair feeling so soft and smelling so delicate. I apply it like a hair mask before I shower on wash day and it works like a charm especially to maintain highlights in between salon services. My stylist is always shocked at how well I am maintaining the color on my own :)
Cinnamon For The Win
Refreshed my fading auburn hair back to its original intense shade! I was so amazed at how fresh and beautiful the color looked again like I had just dyed it. I wanted a big refresh so I used Keracolor on my dry hair for 20 mins before my shower, rinsed with shampoo and conditioner as normal, blow dried. It came out so gorgeous and vibrant that my boyfriend even was amazed at how well the product worked. I'm a Keracolor user for life!
