There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. Unexpected and Dangerous Product Failure
⭐☆☆☆☆ I purchased this Bio Ionic Long Barrel Curling Iron because of the brand's reputation, but my experience was extremely disappointing. While using the curling iron normally, the barrel suddenly separated from the handle, exposing the internal wiring while the tool was hot and powered on. Fortunately, I caught it before it caused a burn, but it was a frightening experience and could have easily resulted in injury. I contacted Bio Ionic and provided photos of the failure. Although the company acknowledged my report, they declined to replace the unit because it was outside the warranty period and instead offered a discount toward purchasing another curling iron. I understand warranties have limits, but I do not believe a heated styling tool should physically come apart during normal use. This was not cosmetic damage or ordinary wear and tear—it was a structural failure that created a potential hazard. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. If you own this product, I would periodically inspect the connection between the barrel and handle for any signs of loosening or separation.

Curling iron is easy to use and perfect for long hair. It takes less time to curl my hair. No regrets with my purchase.

My hair is very long. It takes so much less time to do my hair now. It is hands down the best curling iron I have ever had. I would suggest using a glove though since I kept burning my little finger which is most likely operator error. haha

I have really long hair. I have a hard time finding curling irons that do a good job of getting a curl into my hair and keeping it there so far I've had this for about a year and a half. It's lasted a long time it's been used a lot, and I've never had any problems with it. I love it and I'll always pleased with the results.
