There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. It's like the spring gets too hot, softens, and ends up stuck and the iron won't close all the way to secure the hair. I use the tool the way it is intended. The best curling iron ever!
My hair stylist recommended this one and i bought it right away. Ive always had problems holding a curl. They'd just fall right out an hour or two after curling it no matter what i did. I tried using different curling irons, different hair products, tried pinning up my curls for 30 minutes and nothing worked. I finally tried this one and did it the same way my hairstylist did it; root lifter at the roots, texturizing spray and only held each curl for a few seconds and wow! So quick and it came out beautifully and even stayed until the next day which never happens! My new fave 🫶
