    How To Use

Saturate hair with water, and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.

    Pro Tips:

    • Make sure enough product is being used. Hair should be saturated and product should be combed roots to ends.
    • Yellow/ brassy blonde tones may play in effect with end result depending on Color + chosen.
    • Silver, Silver Blue, Light Pink and Platinum are geared towards the light blondes.
    • The Silver may turn a greenish hue IF the hair has any yellow tones, Platinum will brighten blonde hair, Silver Blue will counter any brassy/orange tones.

Precaution: This product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary patch and strand test should be performed before use. This product must not be used for dying the eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse immediately with water if eye contact occurs.Direct Dyes should not be removed with ammonia/peroxide. If you are making a drastic color change, consult a salon professional.

    Q
I have colored brown hair with highlights can I use the mocha without ruining my highlights
    Asked by LOR
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for reaching out—that’s a great question. Mocha is not recommended for use on highlighted or blonde hair, as it may create unwanted tones. When hair is lightened, the natural undertones are removed, so a fill service is typically required before going darker to ensure proper color results. We recommend using our Mocha Latte shade as a fill prior to applying Mocha or any darker colors for best results. If you have any additional questions, feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com—we’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I have mocha latte for my medium blonde/ light brown hair. I want to put in a slight "strawberry" effect with it. So latte with a tiny bit of Rose Gold or ?????
    Asked by Blue
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for reaching out—that’s a great question. Mocha Latte is a warm-toned shade, so you can mix it with Light Pink or Rose Gold, depending on the strawberry tone you’re looking to achieve. We recommend writing down the ratios you use so you can adjust as needed based on your test strand results. Be sure to consider processing time, the number of applications, and ratio adjustments to achieve your desired color and tone. If you need further assistance, please feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com—we’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I have used the honey blonde and would like a lighter color. Is champagne lighter than honey blonde?
    Asked by Roxanne
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for reaching out—that’s a great question. Honey and Champagne are the same shade; we’ve simply updated the name as part of a recent refresh. While we’re revamping the look of our line with some new updates, it’s still the same formula and colors everyone has come to love and trust. Q
I am over 50% - 60% gray and tired of having to keep up with hair color. I have used lighter hair colors (dark blonde) to cover the gray to prepare for going completely gray (the darker lighter blondes help to make the gray blend in more) and wondered if a product like yours would finally push it over the edge enough so as it is growing out it will take less to care for it color wise. Would the silver work for that? I know it won't cover the gray - what I want is to enhance the gray I already have and push the rest to match so as it grows out it will be less of a burden.

Hi, Thank you so much for reaching out to us. That’s a great question. To better assist you, could you please email photos of your hair from roots to ends to Voeurn@unitedhaircare.com? Q
I have dark blonde hair with a few greys and was debating the honey toned Keracolor to deposit subtle tones in my blonde for Gray blending (base dark blonde + subtle highlights/tone + greys). I understand that Keracolor will not deposit color on greys. But does it turn grey hair brassy/yellow?
    Asked by S
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi great question, and thank you for reaching out to us. No — Keracolor Honey will not turn grey hair brassy or yellow. Here’s why: Grey hair has little to no natural warmth for the pigment to grab onto. Honey and warm blonde Keracolor shades are deposit-only and very sheer. On grey hair, they may: Leave the grey unchanged, or Give a very soft, translucent warmth (think beige/creamy rather than yellow or brassy) They will not create harsh yellowing or brassiness the way oxidative dyes sometimes can. What you can realistically expect with your hair: With a dark blonde base + subtle highlights + greys: Your blonde areas will pick up a soft honey warmth, adding dimension and richness. Highlights will look more blended and toned. Greys will remain mostly grey but may appear slightly softened or less stark, helping them blend better with the surrounding blonde. I hope this helps. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Hello, I'm trying to grow my natural color out and my lengths/ends have been color treated. If I use this product will it permanently alter my natural roots coming in? Does the product have developer in it?
    Asked by Rainy
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. That’s a great question. Keracolor is a semi-permanent, pigment-depositing color. It does not lift/lighten dark hair and does not require mixing with a developer. It may alter your natural roots depending on your starting level and the shade you choose. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions—we’re happy to help. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Which shade is darker mocha or mocha latte? Thank you!
    Asked by Meg
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi thank you for reaching out to us. That's a great question. Our Mocha Latte is a warmer tone and our Mocha is a cooler tone. So the Mocha will be a little darker/deeper than the Latte. I hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
My natural hair color is dirty blonde and I have highlights throughout the lengths of my hair. My stylist put a dark ash/mushroom blonde gloss all over to blend my highlights in with my natural color. She recommended a clenditioner for when the toner fades! What color combination should I use to get a dark ash/mushroom blonde tone?
    Asked by Mushroom blondie
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, Thank you for reaching out to us. Since I can’t see your hair, it’s a little difficult to give a precise recommendation without photos for reference. That said, you can use our Mocha shade—it’s a cooler tone and will help achieve that beige effect typical of mushroom brown tones. If you’d like, feel free to send pictures for a more tailored suggestion to Voeurn@unitedhaircare.com Have a great day. Thank you.Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Hi my hair used to be burgundy/red. I dyed it black and my ends seam to fade fast rather than the whole head. My ends turn into a brownish color. Will this product in the color black help maintain these ends?
    Asked by Brit
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi! Thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question. Yes, you can absolutely use our Onyx color to help maintain your ends so they don’t fade as quickly. When color fades rapidly, it’s often a sign that the hair is damaged and needs extra care. To truly fix it at the core, we recommend incorporating deep conditioning treatments to help restore porosity and elasticity. This allows the hair to better retain color and improves overall health and longevity of the shade. Please let us know if you’d like recommendations for treatments or have any other questions—we’re happy to help. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I have mostly gray hair with some brown can I use the blue/ silver or silver through parts of my hair and is it permanent?
    Asked by Newbie
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question. Keracolor is a semi-permanent, color-depositing pigment and is not formulated to fully cover gray hair. Gray hair typically requires a permanent color for complete coverage. Keracolor also does not lighten hair. It can only deposit pigment to help neutralize or cancel unwanted tones, so it will not make brown hair lighter. I hope this helps. Was this answer helpful to you

I have natural unaltered dark brown hair, can I apply this to my hair to achieve a darker look?
    Asked by Roxy
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question. Yes, you can use Keracolor to go darker on virgin hair. Since your hair has never been colored before, it may take a couple of applications to achieve your desired color and tone, as virgin hair can be more resistant to pigment at first. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions—we’re happy to help. Was this answer helpful to you

Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question. You can use our Copper and Red Clenditioners to create the perfect strawberry blonde for you. Just be sure to use consistent ratios each time and keep track of how you mixed it so you can reference it later. We always recommend doing a strand test first to dial in the correct timing and determine how many applications you’ll need before applying it all over your head. We hope this helps. If I have naturally black hair, but I dyed it red, and it's now faded, will this product still work on me?
    Asked by Rachel
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi! Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, that’s exactly what Keracolor is intended for — a color refresh when your color fades. Since it’s a semi-permanent color, it only deposits pigment and does not lighten your hair. For the best results, we recommend doing a strand test first. This allows you to see how the color develops on your hair and determine the timing and number of applications needed before applying it all over. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Will this deposit color on gray hair?
    Asked by JJ
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thank you for reaching out, that’s a great question! We don’t recommend using the Color+ Clenditioners on gray hair, as they contain semi-permanent pigments that aren’t designed to cover gray. You may see some tonal changes or a bit of blending, but it’s also possible that there won’t be any noticeable effect. I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal ...

    Silver Blue Is Not Good

I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

    Great product!

    By Jenn

    From Asheville, NC

    Hair Type Straight Hair

I am a brunette, and growing out my gray hair. I had been using dark brown henna for the past 5+ yrs. Most of my grays are centered in my bangs and at the temples. I am approx 75% gray in these areas and was not enjoying the drastic change. I am a fit 52 yr old and suddenly felt like I looked much older. I bought this product (color espresso), then after peeling off the back label and reading that it was not recommended for gray hair, I returned the product. Then I read some reviews online that people with gray hair do like it. So I repurchased the product and gave it a try. Bottom line: It's great! It has covered approx 50% of my gray with a medium brown which matches my natural browns. And I like that it did not give a "blanket color". It is a much more natural look than the henna. Warning: Use gloves when applying and rinsing hair, as the product will stain your fingernails. And towel dry with an old or colored towel. I did not have any trouble with staining of my white tub.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

    Shockingly good coverage

    From Portsmouth, RI

I recently had my hair colored and the stylist (owner of an upscale salon, very expensive and should know better) did not do a good job coloring my hair. I didn't have much hope for this covering the grays in my dark brown hair, but it does a shockingly good job. I do the full 20 minutes and it looks good enough that I'm not self-conscious about how my hair looks.
