    How To Use

Saturate hair with water, and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.

    Pro Tips:

    • Make sure enough product is being used. Hair should be saturated and product should be combed roots to ends.
    • Yellow/ brassy blonde tones may play in effect with end result depending on Color + chosen.
    • Silver, Silver Blue, Light Pink and Platinum are geared towards the light blondes.
    • The Silver may turn a greenish hue IF the hair has any yellow tones, Platinum will brighten blonde hair, Silver Blue will counter any brassy/orange tones.

Precaution: This product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary patch and strand test should be performed before use. This product must not be used for dying the eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse immediately with water if eye contact occurs.Direct Dyes should not be removed with ammonia/peroxide. If you are making a drastic color change, consult a salon professional.

    Q
So if I have vibrant blue hair and use the blue color it will help keep the color in between salon visits?
    Asked by Bheart
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, exactly! If you have vibrant blue hair, using a blue color-depositing product can help maintain and refresh your color between salon visits. It helps keep the tone looking vivid and can reduce fading over time. If you have any other questions let us know. Thank you.Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
My hair is a dark blue black, will using the blue conditioner keep it from fading to just black?
    Asked by bluebird
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi thank you for reaching out to us. Great question! If your hair is a dark blue-black, using a blue color-depositing conditioner can definitely help maintain those blue tones and slow down fading. While it may not completely prevent the color from eventually fading darker, it will help keep that blue hue visible longer between salon visits. You may also want to use the Onyx and Blue together to add a bit more blue to the black, especially if you’re looking to enhance that blue tint. Let me know if you have any other questions! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
I just had my hair dyed back to my natural (almost black), but with a hint of red. Used cherry cola images. My hair came out more purple than red. And I hate it. Can any of the color conditioners cancel out the purple, or at least make it more mahogany than straight up purple?
    Asked by Liza
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. Great question. Purple tones can sometimes show up when the red leans cooler than expected. To shift it more toward a warm mahogany instead of purple, you’ll want to add warmth back into the hair. Using a red or copper-toned color-depositing conditioner can help balance out the purple and bring it closer to that rich, reddish-brown (mahogany) look. Warmer shades help counteract those cooler violet tones. You could also mix a warmer red with a neutral/darker shade (like Mocha Latte and Mocha) to deepen it while keeping that warm undertone. It may take a couple of uses to see the shift, but it should help move the color in the right direction. Let me know if you need any more assistance. Have a great day.Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Can I use the onyx color on highlighted blonde hair, and if so will it eventually fade out and return to light brown blonde
    Asked by manda
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thanks for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! We don’t recommend using Onyx, Espresso, or Mocha on highlighted hair, as highlighted hair is missing underlying tones and the results can turn an undesirable shade. Was this answer helpful to you

I'm confused, am I supposed to use this as a conditioner or shampoo?
    Asked by J
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE

Simply apply the product, leave it on for 20–45 minutes (depending on the color/tone goals), then rinse with cool water, and style as usual. Let us know if you have any other questions. Gray coverage?
    Asked by Tina
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
A Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! Keracolor Clenditioners are semi-permanent color depositing, so they are not formulated to provide gray coverage. Gray hair typically requires permanent pigments for coverage. While Clenditioners can be used on gray hair, we generally don’t recommend it, as results can vary widely. Everyone’s gray hair is different, and the outcome can depend on factors such as hair texture, porosity, and the specific shade used. We hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com. Best regards, The Keracolor TeamWas this answer helpful to you
    Q
How often do you use this? Every wash day, weeks, months?
    Asked by Mar
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! You can use this product to help maintain your salon color between visits and keep it from fading too quickly. It’s also a great option for refreshing your color and extending the time between salon appointments. We recommend using it once a week or every two weeks, depending on your hair’s condition, porosity, and how well it holds color. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

    Asked by wants silver
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us—that’s a great question! Yes, the silver (as well as any of our colors) will work with it. Please keep in mind that gray hair can take color differently, and this is a semi-permanent color rather than a permanent one. I hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Can I use this on my faded out black hair (it turned brown) and it will return to black? Ive developed an allergy to permanent box dye so I've been having to use semi permanent and it's just such a pain and so time consuming just for it to wash out in two weeks, could I use this in between re coloring?
    Asked by Trix
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Yes, absolutely! Our Clenditioners were specifically designed for this purpose. They help maintain your color between salon visits, keeping your hair looking refreshed and touched up — all while staying budget-friendly. It’s a 3-in-1 product that cleanses, conditions, and deposits color, making it easy to incorporate into your hair care routine every 1–2 weeks whenever you need a color refresh. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
can red color and conditioner be used on pure white hair?
    Asked by Barbara
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Yes — they can be used on pure white hair, but the results will likely be very intense, depending on your hair’s porosity and overall health. If your hair is highly porous or damaged, it may absorb the color darker, brighter, or more unevenly. We always recommend doing a strand test to determine processing time and the number of applications needed to achieve your desired tone and color before applying it to your entire head. We hope this helps! Please email us at info@keracolorhair.com if you need further assistance. Thank you.Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Does the purple have cool undertones, as in, when I decide to lighten my hair in the future will it leave blue/green pigments in my hair? I had this experience with another "purple" color depositing conditioner and would like to know before purchasing.
    Asked by Purple
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi! Great question — and thanks so much for reaching out to us. 😊 If you are using our Purple on blonde hair-, it doesn’t turn blue. As it fades, it might leave a light lavender tint. If I misunderstood your question, please feel free to clarify — I’m happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

One reviewer stated that you shouldnt use this on grey hair. Does the package state why? Im wanting to cover my natural greys, the rest is natural black. I have not box dyed my hair in years so theres no risk of prior color interfence. Just curious, if this is true.

    Q
Hello, I have dark brown hair and recently highlighted it. It seemed to be fading already and much lighter than I wanted. Can I use the mocha kera color and help it tone down?
    Asked by Eva
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! Our Mocha, Espresso, and Onyx shades are not recommended for hair that has highlights, as they are cooler-toned colors. When applied to highlighted or blonde hair, the blue undertones in these shades can mix with the yellow in the hair, which may result in unwanted green tones. If you have highlighted hair and are looking to go a bit darker, we recommend doing a “fill” first using our Mocha Latte shade. This helps replace the warm undertones that blonde hair is missing, allowing the Mocha shade to appear true to color rather than looking off. This is also why we always recommend seeking professional salon assistance when making drastic color changes or working with highlighted hair, as a stylist can help ensure the best and most accurate results. How fast does it fade?? Does it fade fully??
    Asked by Esther
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi! Great question—thank you so much for reaching out to us. It really depends on several factors, including how healthy your hair is, its level of porosity, your hair care routine, and how often you wash it. Some colors fade out completely, while others may leave a slight stain depending on the hair. Because everyone’s hair is different, it’s hard to say with 100% certainty whether it will fade out fully, but these factors all play a role. Please let us know if you have any other questions—we’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Is the "Cinnamon" a Cool or Warm tone? I need a warm color for my Level 7 highlights that the salon glossed with Copper. I love Copper so much. I love a brown-copper more than an orange or gold copper. Because my skin tone is neutral and beige/peachy I need warm that comes from red, not yellow to make me glow. II am unsure whether to pick the Cinnamon or the Copper. And even perhaps mixing one of those two with Mocha Latte because I like Copper that is Brown Dominant with a kiss of red. Thank you!
    Asked by WeNeedWorldPeaceAgain
Official Answer By Keracolor - BE
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us! Cinnamon leans more red, while Copper is more orange—both are warm-toned pigments. If you visit our website and click on the SHOP tab, then head to the Naturals collection, you’ll be able to view the Copper and Red swatches there for a closer comparison. We also recommend checking out Auburn, which includes brown tones with a warm base and may be a great option depending on the look you’re going for. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us at info@keracolorhair.com. We’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal ...

    Silver Blue Is Not Good

I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

I have been so impressed with this product. It keeps my copper hair vibrant and fresh within minutes. The consistency is perfect to use in or outside of the shower and it smells so nice, too. Like an expensive perfume. It lasts a long time and overall I find it's a good value. The gloss is durable and comes out great every time.

I have bought several colors in this brand. I love that I can just wash this in at any time and it will either increase as I keep using it, or fade if I swap back to "regular" shampoo. My favorites are the hot pink and the lavender. I find blue to be the hardest to "fade" and it turns green on the way to going back to my blonde hair. I've had a good base with the pink, then, use the lavender and it makes it almost iridescent. There's no harsh smell and it doesn't discolor my hands..I use it in the shower, just let it sit on there while you're lathering up or shaving! Easy, breezy!

The instructions on the back of the bottle were very vague. It says to saturate your hair when you just just get your hair damp or do it dry. Should suggest to use gloves while applying and rinsing out i used the black and it stained everything other than my hair especially my roots. Made them a little darker but definitely not black and i have dark hair which is also dyed black. The conditioning elements in it are fantastic but thats it.

I have been using this for YEARS throughout my 20s with so many different hair colors before I used it for copper highlights, then I went red so I switched to merlot for like a burgundy vibe now I have turned the red up a notch and switching to the red shade! I love this stuff!! Leaves my thick coarse wavy hair feeling so soft and smelling so delicate. I apply it like a hair mask before I shower on wash day and it works like a charm especially to maintain highlights in between salon services. My stylist is always shocked at how well I am maintaining the color on my own :)
