Most Helpful Positive Review YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal dye to make sure the hair is completely saturated and you get an even coverage, but it's really worth it. It takes about 3-4 washes for it to come out completely. I apply it on bleached hair (about a level 8-10) This stuff also smells amazing and makes my hair feel silky smooth after I use it.
I have also used the purple and that one, for some reason, takes MONTHS to completely come out, so be aware. It might just be it clings to my hair more in some places, but I don't have that issue with the pink or other hair dyes I have used in the past. The purple does fade to a nice silverish color, but I also noticed it left a blue/green SLIGHT tint to my hair after it fully washed out.
I have an attached image of the Light Pink and Purple. Light Pink is after 1 application, and the Purple is one application but with I believe 1 one wash before the photo was taken.
Most Helpful Critical Review Silver Blue Is Not Good
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff to pay this much for such a small bottle. Second, it smells DISGUSTING. This the same kind of scent as "shower fresh" deodorant. I'm pretty sure they were going for "clean" but it smells like the laundry aisle in a grocery store or that cheap shampoo they use at walk-in salons and I hate it. Third, it doesn't work. The bottle says the color builds with repeated washes and it shows a pic of 1 wash vs more, but I saw no color difference and I tried it multiple times in a row. The color out of the bottle is a dark grey, obviously very diluted and not much blue tone, especially compared to other temp greys like Manic Panic Blue Steel (result: neutral grey, fades fast, no staining) or Ion Shark Blue (result: smoky blue grey, stains hair very pale pastel blue). This doesn't stain your hands if you use it without gloves, but that means it isn't very pigmented and it doesn't stick well to wet hair. It might work better on dry hair if you leave it for like an hour or 2, but then it's just another temp dye and it's way too overpriced if that's all it is. The non-pastels probably work better, but you need processed hair for them to stick and you need a lighter starting base for lighter colors (examples: Purple will not make brown hair bright purple, Rose Gold will not make orange hair pink). If you want to dye your hair at home, learn some color theory. :)

Hair was a level 10 blonde. Followed instructions. And left on for 20 mins. Absolutely zero change. I then applied it to dry hair left it on for another 20 mins. Zero change. Now almost through the entire expensive bottle I applied it a third time. Left on for 20 mins. With a slight gray ti he to my hair. Save your money. I do not recommend
I will be buying this product more and more.

I would lather my hair (dry). Let it sit for about an hour or more, depending on how much you want it to cancel out the brassiness.
Took a couple washes but works
Jenny from Hesperia
It took a couple washes to get the color I wanted but it works. I also tested it on dry hair it also works on dry hair - product recommends wet hair
So happy with this product, highly recommend

I apply the mocha to my dry hair starting at grey roots and top of head where I have new growth of grey, natural color is medium brown and have had blonde highlights, but due to Covid restrictions and salons closed, I decided to embrace my grey... last salon visit was in February...the mocha works well to blend but not hide the natural grey, I add water and work the mocha throughout my hair, leave on for up to 30 minutes, rinse well, and spray on the purify plus leave in conditioning treatment. I now see no thinning or find strands of hair in my shower drain, my hair is now in great condition and I only use your product twice a week, yet hair feels clean and conditioned in between uses. I have a bottle of the silver clenditioner that I considered exchanging for mocha, since my hair is shoulder length and it will be a while before my natural grey/silver will grow out, my husband likes the mocha. Great product, so happy to have discovered it.
This is a new staple for me
Jaci from Philadelphia, Pa
I applied the product on dry hair focusing on my roots and combed down through my ends. I saturated my white hairs pretty well on dry hair that I sectioned and let it sit for an hour. The mocha color left my hair in excellent condition. Apparently, there is some voodoo magic in this stuff. I'm shook. I can't thank the girls in the Horsham, Pa Ulta. Everyone who works at this store is amazing and totally helpful.

I was super skeptical before using this but I really want a more platinum look. My hair was a honey blonde with streaks of more platinum (it looked better than it sounds) so I used this and my hair is so light! The highlights are brighter and my hair is way closer to platinum! Would totally recommend for blondes trying to go lighter!
Worked like a charm

My red hair was fading so I bought this in red hoping it would help. Worked great.

I used the Hot Pink color and it deposits such vibrant color and really moisturizes your hair!
Anjee from Republic of Texas
I have very long light over medium blonde hair that is constantly plagued with brassiness. I used this once & noticed that my light blonde looked more platinum, & it tones the rest. I used it as directed, not in dry hair, since I'd have to use the whole bottle $$$. Conditions better than most anti-brass products.
Adds great color

During the quarantine I decided to let the grey grow out. I'm 60 and tired of trying to maintain my former color. Grey can wash you out a bit so I decided to add some dimension with the silver/blue. What a nice option! I put it on dry hair for about 5 min. before getting in the shower once a week is all I have to do it. However it is a conditioner too so you could do it every day. It did not stain my tub, but I would wear gloves.
Rraim from Smithfield. RI
I have very white hair growing in, this product gave it a nice gray tone. The more you use it the darker it will get. I lifted my color then used this conditioner and I'm happy with the results.
Color Onyx. It's a good product but it has some cons
Monica from Seattle, WA
This product is the most pigmented out of all color depositing shampoos I've used, I bought a black one and I have natural dark brown hair. But because of that it stains my hands and white surfaces in the bathroom so you need to be very careful while using it. I would still like it but my major problem with it is that it's very hydrating so I'm not able to use it on my roots without making my hair greasy. So I would say it's better for using on dry hair or just on the ends.
This has saved my hair during quarantine

I have a bayalage that was originally done in France. I like to keep my roots a very dark espresso color woven with "tiger eye" blonde pieces. I use the espresso color on my roots and platinum on the ends once every other week. My hair smells amazing and I get compliments everywhere I go on the color. I would love a haircut but being in New Orleans at the spike of covid again, it's not option. This has kept my hair soft and manageable.

I bought this and also use it with Uberbliss Platinum Jade I am glad I did.
My hair is grey and silver and any one with silver hair knows how much upkeep having silver hair can be.
Thanks to Kerracolor Silver my job is a lot easier.
This product can be used in the shower to gently power up your color and help maintain its beauty, vibrancy, and shine.
It also smells amazing so that's a plus.
A great tip, if you are looking to kick up the vibrancy in your color, grab a pair of gloves and apply this to dry hair.
I am not kidding, I gave it a try myself and my color just became so eye popping.
Overall this is a great product for maintaining and enhancing silver hair.
Catarina from South Jersey
I use copper to maintain my orange hair. I also used to use rose gold when had my hair that color. This is only to use to MAINTAIN ur color, its not really in place of it. Keracolor also has toner drops u can purchase on their website to enhance yr color. But this is great bc u can also use it on ur dry hair to get a more intense/extreme color and leave on for 25 minutes. Or use it in the shower and i leave it on for 10 minutes. I only use once a week or every 2 weeks. I love it bc it saves me a trip to the stylist for a glazing. If it doesn't work on ur hair its probably bc ur hair hasn't been treated or ur hair is just too dark.
Did NOT work
Nurse G from Knoxville TN
This product "might" work if you're starting with white white hair. My daughters hair is light blonde and this stuff did nothing. Returned it

I got onyx to color my grey hair, which has grown four/five inches since the pandemic. I figured I might as well grow it out, but I want to do something about the roots until the black level 2 (my natural color before going grey) grows out.
I have only applied one treatment so far and it has made a difference! I saturated my roots while my hair was dry. I left it on for at least an hour, while doing house stuff. Then got in the shower to lather and rinse it out. It covered a lot of the grey, but not all. Another treatment or two should do the trick and then I will apply it to maintain the color.
What I love... the shine, vibrant color, and softness. This stuff even makes my existing black color more vibrant. It looks more like I just had it done. I have dry hair and did not have to shampoo or use anything but this to clean my hair. The smells is lovely! After my hair grows out, I can play with other colors.
What I don't like.. it stains everything. Use vinyl gloves. Even in the shower. Clean the counter with windex ASAP. Rinse the shower afterwards and spray with a shower cleaner. It will get on towels too. The inconvenience of having to apply this often.

This product is amazing, I'm so happy to never have to worry about the upkeep of my vibrant copper hair, I put this on every other wash and my color is maintained for so long! Love it!
Tried Red and Rose Gold
OhMissRed from Dallas
I absolutely love love love this product! I started with dark brown hair. I wanted to be silver/ lavender eventually but I fully understand that it is a slow process to get that light so we started by bleaching and came out with a pretty funky orange (as I'm sure you can imagine). My stylist used joico red dye and it got on everything! My cuticles were pink, my pillowcase and anything light I wore would turn pink/red. As far as I'm concerned, that is unacceptable. Then I found Keracolor!
I absolutely love the red color! It's vibrant, glossy, and soooo easy to use. I got compliments on my hair several times a day. You just shampoo it like usual and replace your conditioner with the Keracolor. I only had to leave the red in for like 5 minutes and I would get excellent color depth. There was little to no color transfer! No pink hands or nails, and I could even wear white shirts immediately after drying my hair!
The rose gold was a different story. Phase two, and my hair is much lighter now so I went with rose gold. The color is definitely not quite as easy and I had to use a lot more to get the depth I wanted. Instead of using is as just conditioner, I put it on before I washed and left it for about 20 minutes. It is possible to use it as just conditioner but you've gotta leave it on longer and saturate fully! The color is still beautiful and there's no color transfer (except a tiny bit on my towel but it comes right out in the wash).
Turned my hair blue instead of brown
Espresso from Jackson, Michigan
My hair is naturally light brown and the espresso Color turned my hair a blueish greenish gray color. Will not be buying afain
Lindsay from Phoenix, AZ
I thought this product (red) was useless when I first bought it. I initially used it in the shower on my wet hair (leaving it in for 2-5 minutes) and it didn't make a difference. So, I tried a different method. I use on my hair when it's dry and section out smaller pieces. I apply it generously and leave it in for 20 minutes or so. I then get in the shower and do my normal shampoo/conditioner routine. The color makes a mess but it cleans up easily. Red fades very quick so this has saved me so much money in hair salon trips!
Will buy again

I'm 68 and have not colored my hair in years.. This is a fun easy way to add color that is not permanent and does not require gloves.
Didn't work like it should

Literally didn't keep my hair silver at all much rather buy a purple shampoo and conditioner
