Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin.
For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush like the 168S Brush.
To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator or a 170S Brush. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.
For additional coverage and wear, buff Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 onto skin using the 159S Brush before applying the powder.|To use as a setting powder, apply with the 240S Brush to your T-zone area and the 187S Brush all over the face.

Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original

Just no.
Have used this for years before they changed the formula and the compact design. New formula is horrible. Very powdery- as in it gets all over my counter tops no matter the applicator. And has significantly less coverage compared to the previous formula. And they changed the shades and most are darker and more orange toned. I can only hope Mac listens to the complaints and change it back.
Good coverage
I use this mostly for touch ups with a fluffy brush. The color works well and the coverage is good.

Completely Changed, COMPLETELY Different Shades!!!
The shades are conpletely different, been wearing this in NW10 since it debuted in that shade, before that I wore NW15 even though it was a bit too dark. The shades arent even just darker now, theyre completely different tones. NW10 is now pale cheeto orange, its not even like NW15 or NW20 used to be, Im baffled honestly. I dont feel like NW5 would be much better seeing how extremely orange toned NW10 is now. I didnt even try it so I cant attest to how the reformulation performs, I could tell right away I would look like a clown if I applied such an orange color to my skin. Seeing as they removed talc it is probably entirely different and in a bad way. Shame. Ive been using this since 2008 but I will be using something else.
Really like the new powder
I am not sure why poeple dont like the new formula. Compared to old formula (still have a compact of the original studio fix powder) it blurs pores better, is more smooth and skin like, build able, not cakey, wears way better over the day with out sepsrating. I havevoiky skin and the new formula seems just as or a little bit better in controlling oil.
