Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

Can you bring the old formula back please!

Comments about NC40
I like this new formula but I do not love it as much as I did the old. I really wish they would have kept at least both formula's so customers have the option to choose between both. This new formula feels a bit more heavier on the skin, more dry, and I'm just not loving it. I've been buying the old formula for the last 15 years. MAC please bring the old formula back along with this one.
Less Product in new Formulation
New formulation is not offers less coverage, it also has less product in it. The new formulation only has .42 oz of product. And the product inside is just dusty, I don't know how to describe it. It doesn't really stick to my skin. I am oily though. Maybe it works better for dry skin. Just not sure why they would reformulate a classic and release it in a subpar version. I'd rather just use Maybelline or Juvia's place powder in comparison to this.
New Formula Caused BREAKOUTS

Comments about NC25
After using this product for over 10 years, I've had to stop due to the new formula. At first glance, I thought that only the packaging had changed. Then, I noticed the consistency was different. Unfortunately, this was not a good thing as the powder seemed less pressed, less buildable, and less pigmented. The worst thing was that I noticed after a short time, that my breakouts started to get REALLY bad. Mind you, I don't typically break out at all. I stopped wearing the makeup completely, and my skin is starting to go back to normal. I get married in 2 months and this truly feels like a nightmare. The amount of hyperpigmentation that I now I have on my face is embarrassing. If you have sensitive skin, I would not recommend this product. I have no clue why companies have to go changing their formulas that they've had for years.
New Formula Is Horrible
An Ulta/Mac advisor helped me select my color awhile ago and it was perfect coloring and I just opened my new NW18 this morning and as soon as I applied to my face my face was literally orange and looks absolutely horrible and un-natural. This is my 3rd compact and will be looking to change to a different brand.
This new NW50 formula sucks

The old NW50 now the new suggested shade of NC 58 or 60 both sucked. I don't know how a warm/neutral cross walked over to a cool undertone. Will be returning. Also tried NW55 which was a little better with more red that matches my tone a little more but it still looks off. Will be returning and looking for a new foundation.
