- Rub between palms, scrunch into soaking wet curls.
- Do not rinse.
- Style as usual.
- Once fully dry, shake at the root and scrunch to soften the cast.
If you want another strong curl-locking blend option, Defining Spray Gel is recommended. If you want the lightest curl-locking blend, DevaCurl recommends Light Defining Gel. If you want the strongest curl-locking blend, Supreme Defining Gel is recommended.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I have 3b/3c curls,high- medium porosity and my curls love this gel so much! It's not sooo strong but it definitely helps with creating a gel cast over whatever curl cream I decide to use. It has a light smell which doesn't bother me; think fresh flowers! The cast I get from this gel keeps my curls lasting over three days, which is funny because without it I can barely get my curls to last one day. If you have frizzy curls try using a gel like this!

I really like using the Ultra Defining Gel for wash and gos. The definition it gives my 4c curls genuinely surprised me, as I don't usually get this level of curl clumping and structure from a gel alone, so I was really impressed. The hold is solid, but the gel cast isn't overly crunchy, which I like because my hair still feels soft once I fluff it out. Overall, it gives me great definition without making my hair feel stiff or overly styled.

This product may just make me a fan of gel for my curly hair! It isn't, keeps my hair soft, and rubs through easily! I've been so impressed with how it does not leave a hardness feeling to my hair but instead keeps my curls bouncy and maintained. The Ultra Defining Gel is my favorite naturally curly hair product in my line up for styling!
