Product really dried out my curls and couldn't define my 4c curls. I did enjoy the light weight feel and consistency of the product but it just simply didn't work well for me personally.

I've been a Deva Curl girl since 2007 and this is my fave gel EVER! I had been using Deva Supercream followed by Deva ultra defining gel. My curls looked good while my hair was wet, but after air drying, would look dry and frizzy. This Quench and Define gel, emphasizes my waves and curls, gives my hair shine, cuts down on frizz for 3 days and gives a little lift at the roots. I love it!
No definition no curl cast
I was hoping this would be a replacement for the Supreme gel that they discontinued and since they said it was a stronger hold that the Ultra gel I gave it a try. It's like putting water in my hair. I guess it's easy to apply and smells nice but there is no definition, no curl cast. My first day curls don't look great at all and there's nothing at all left for day 2 and later. Am returning to store.

First time using the DevaCurl Quench'n Define Gel and I'm honestly impressed. I usually avoid gels because I hate the crunchy feeling, but this one gave my curls amazing definition while still keeping them soft and touchable. It locked in my curl pattern, controlled frizz, and added shine without making my hair stiff. My curls stayed defined for days and still had movement and volume. It paired perfectly with my curl cream and really brought the whole wash-and-go together. Definitely a gel I'll keep using.
