After two full weeks of using the Quench'N Define Gel, I'm honestly shocked at the long-term results. My curls are more consistent and less prone to frizz, even on humid days. I've started mixing it with a leave-in conditioner on extra dry days, and the combo is chef's kiss! What I really appreciate is how it doesn't flake or build up — even when I refresh with a bit of water and re-scrunch mid-week. It's officially a staple in my routine now. If you want definition and softness without stiffness, this gel delivers.
It's light but it holds my curls

My hair has sections that are curly and as the gray comes in, unfortunately, sections that are straight. I've had a lot of trouble finding a gel to work. This comes out of the pump soupy-like, blends into my hair easily and keeps the curls intact for two additional days after spritzing. It's very good!
HG for high-porosity hair

This is the first gel I've used that actually defeats frizz. I've tried all of DC's other gels, Ouidad's, Eco, KC, etc... this is the one. It has great hold, too. It's a slightly watery gel. I use four pumps for my shoulder-length hair and it keeps it 90% frizz-free for days. I cannot recommend this product enough for hi-po hair.

I bought this on a whim and I'm shocked at how great it is! Photos are day 2 hair, and it's just as curly and bouncy as day 1! As advertised it didn't not leave a hard cast, that required scrunching - curls are soft to the touch but holding shape!
