Not defining and no hold
This foam may work for type 2 hair as a one and done only but I can't say for sure. There's no hold at all and doesn't help with definition on my type 4 hair. It is moisturizing and smells nice though. If you are type 3 you will need to pair this with a gel or cream you like. If you're type 4 I'd skip this all together.
More for waves not tighter curls
I was really hopeful for this product. I noticed white flakes at the washed/brushed hair and tried again. Same result. Flaked. I have very curly coarse hair and it eas recommended by a staff at ulta since my go to is just a leave in conditioner. I wanted to add something extra. This wasnt it.
Didn't work at all
I wanted to like this product but it did nothing for my daughter's hair or mine. The mousse was soapy and didn't style our hair at all. We tried it a few times and every time our hair was left frizzy with a sticky texture to it.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I've tried a lot of different mousse to varying results, but this is my holy grail. When I first tried it, I was scared because the consistency is so light. It was much closer to a foam than a mousse, and in the past those usually give me absolutely no hold. This doesn't have that issue. If I use it on its own, it will give me that definition I'm looking for. Personally, I always pair it with a strong hold gel to have something that's locked in for a few days.
