What is the difference between Re:coil and Definer?
Re:Coil nourishes curls with our Curl Creating Complex, adding separation and hold without stiffness or stickiness. Air-dry for a slight cast you can shake out, or diffuse for softer, bouncier curls. Curl Fresh Definer smooths and defines fine-to-medium curls with nourishment and shine. Apply to damp or dry hair, or refresh throughout the day. Diffuse or air-dry for added hold, typically without a cast.
Will Re:coil weigh down my wavy hair?
Re:coil is recommended for most hair types. A little goes a long way! For finer waves, we might suggest taking a look at Curl Fresh Definer.
Will using Re:coil leave a cast?
If you air dry with Re:coil, your hair will likely be left with a slight cast that you can shake out. By diffusing, results will be more soft, bouncy, curls.
Can I use Re:coil on permed hair?
Yes, Re:Coil Curl Activator can be used on permed hair.
Should I apply a gel after Re:coil?
For stronger hold or a cast, layer Liquid Effects or Mousse Gel over Re:coil.

Must have in curly hair routine
This product could honestly be used alone in a wash in go. It's hydrating and has slight hold. It works very well in my 2c/3a hair. Also love that it's very lightly fragranced
A little goes a LONG way
I've been using this product for the last year and I really like it! I have 3B/C hair and am very prone to frizz, so for years I had to combine cream and gel in order to get any kind of lasting hold. This replaced those entirely! Let me tell you… a little goes a LOOONGG way with this dude. It's REALLY easy to over do it, and I recommend putting it on when your hair is wet/damp but after wringing ur hair out in the shower. I've had time where ai just put too much in and it leaves flakes and crust. So seriously, take it easy with this and make sure you're getting all areas of your hair without over doing it. I find that putting this in my hair wet, brushing my hair out, and then wringing out extra product leaves my hair looking AMAZING. Best of all, it LASTS for days (almost a week) and I can use water and maaaaybe a bit of extra product to refresh my hair. Day one hair is a bit crunchy but softens over time while maintaining curls. That being said, the con is that it's incredibly pricey. Personally I only ever get it when it's on sale because I just find it ridiculously expensive, even if it is a good product.
Perfect for my wavy hair
i first tried this product when i purchased a small tube from my hairstylist. She knows I like to let my hair air dry and said this brand was very good. I liked the way it gave my waves some control as my hair dried before going to bed. In the morning I just need to give it a quick comb through and I'm good to go. When I saw it as a Beauty Steal, I had to get the larger size.
