This product is everything I want my OUAI detangler to be. For context, I have curly hair. My perfect natural hair day is when my hair is Too curly to be considered wavy and too wavy to be considered curly - between 2 c and 3a. I need a lot of product to make it look like mermaid hair. At least 8 sprays of the OUAI detangler when it's drying and 8 before I head out the door. This is different. I use 1 pump after my shower and it somehow has the perfect amount of weight and hold to make sure my hair doesn't start floating and reaching for the clouds. Don't even get me started on how it smooths the top of my hair after a blowout. I use a teensy bit between my palms and smooth it over my antennae and I'm good to go. It has a cleaner hold than gel without being crunchy, and enough weight to turn my fluffy curls into mermaid hair. This is the kind of product that I get to try out that changes the game for me. I know I'll be buying it in the future.

I've found this sculpting paste super useful, though not as much of a workhorse as some other reviewers. For me, it works really well for slicked-back styles that are super clean and stay put without getting crunchy. However, I personally didn't find it worked well for adding texture in hair down styles. On my hair it felt a little heavy and I could definitely see I had product in--though I've seen it look amazing and really natural on other people, so I think the texture aspect really depends on your hair type! Worth a shot for the flyaway taming alone!

I was really impressed by this product! It was nourishing and conditioning while adding structure and texture to my hair. I tried using it multiple ways- to slick back my hair in a ponytail, and to add some texture to my curls: both worked out so well! It had great hold in my slickback and my hair stayed in place all day without feeling too dry and crunchy. When I used it for texture, I put a small amount in my hands, rubbed them together and scrunched it into my curls and it works fantastically. There's a light citrus scent which I really enjoyed and I didn't noticed any white flakiness that I sometimes experience with other sculpting pastes. It's a creamy consistency and it made my hair look and feel nourished. Really glad I tried this because I will definitely be including this in my routine!

I'm writing this review in return for receiving this item for free. I wasn't sure what to expect with this product but was glad I was chosen to give it a try. I've heard great things about the line as a whole and I can confirm the rumors are true! I've been using the sculpting paste on my son's short hair daily and it gives him the tasseled look he's going for. The product also seems to last throughout the day which is great. We will be purchasing in the future!

I like that it holds shape without it getting hard which makes it give a natural appearance. I do think that you may have to reapply every few hours though
