Bought the gel as soon as I heard about it but was ultimately let down and returned it. For reference my hair is wavy 2a-b high porosity, undyed. Hair Type Wavy Hair
When you read Strong Hold Gel, this is not an overstatement; this is a fact. I have only found one other gel with this type of hold. I have fine, high porosity, low/medium density with 2b = 3a curly/wavy hair. I have tried other gels making this claim, and they cannot touch what this gel does for me, except for the 1 different I mentioned. I applied this over Jessicurl Comfident Coils defining gel, and it held my hair for 4 days without a refresh. On day 5, I refreshed it with a mix of distilled water and ecoslay's Rice Pudding, just doing a light mist, and it scrunched right back up. This held my curls and kept frizz at bay for 4 full days. If you are looking for a really great hard-hold gel, I highly suggest trying Rizos Strong Hold Gel. I bought this on a whim, walking through the store, and do not have buyer's remorse like I have with other countless supposedly strong-hold gels that have been returned.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have 2B-2C wavy curly hair and I've tried every gel out there (from drugstore brands to high-end ones) and nothing compares to the Rizos Curls Strong Hold Gel. First of all, the smell is amazing. It's fresh, a little fruity, and just makes wash days feel like a self care ritual. What I love most is that it gives me the perfect hold without the crunch. My curls stay defined for days, frizz-free, and still soft to the touch. It doesn't flake, it layers beautifully with my leave-in conditioner, and it doesn't weigh my hair down. A little goes a long way, which makes it totally worth it. This gel brought my curls back to life: they look healthier, shinier, and bouncier than ever. If you're a wavy/curly girl struggling to find a gel that actually does it all, this is the one. I'm officially obsessed and not switching anytime soon!
Best hold and not crunchy
It was so nice to my additions and I love that's it's soft curls not crunchy. Highly recommend!
SO BAD
I have 2C curls. This gel looked good for about an hour after diffusing. Defintely not a hard cast. After diffusing, it slowly made my hair frizz/inflate until I looked like hermoine granger. Day 2 my hair was so tangled and it left a sticky film on my curls. Absolutely will not repurchase.
