- Rub between palms, scrunch into soaking wet curls.
- Do not rinse.
- Style as usual.
- Once fully dry, shake at the root and scrunch to soften the cast.
If you want another strong curl-locking blend option, Defining Spray Gel is recommended. If you want the lightest curl-locking blend, DevaCurl recommends Light Defining Gel. If you want the strongest curl-locking blend, Supreme Defining Gel is recommended.

Ive used so many hair gels and none hold as long as this one did! I spent all day outside, in the warm weather and my hair was stylish. in place and non frizzy at all! This is a must buy!!

The Ultra Defining Gel is a very interesting product on my 4c hair. I used the product in two ways to see the type of results I would get. Instructions say to use on soaking wet hair and scrunch, I'm not a scrunch type of girl but I wanted to see if it would actually work. It did providing volume but not as much definition as I'd like. On the other half of head, I used smaller sections and worked the product through with a brush and enjoyed those results. It has a soft/flexible hold and takes a while to dry. I see myself using this product for slick curly buns and lazy days. It is truly a one product item. I did receive this product for free to try.
