- Rub between palms, scrunch into soaking wet curls.
- Do not rinse.
- Style as usual.
- Once fully dry, shake at the root and scrunch to soften the cast.
If you want another strong curl-locking blend option, Defining Spray Gel is recommended. If you want the lightest curl-locking blend, DevaCurl recommends Light Defining Gel. If you want the strongest curl-locking blend, Supreme Defining Gel is recommended.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This gel provides excellent definition and strong hold without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy. It helps reduce frizz while keeping my curls soft, shiny, and well defined throughout the day. I only need a small amount of product to get great results, and it does not leave any residue or buildup. I would definitely purchase this product again.

I've been testing the DevaCurl Defining Gel and overall I think it's a solid product. It has a lightweight feel, doesn't leave my hair crunchy, and helps reduce frizz while adding some hold. My curls felt soft and touchable, which I really appreciated. The only reason it's not a perfect fit for me is that I personally prefer more definition and hold. While it enhanced my curl pattern, I found myself wanting a bit more curl clumping and long-lasting definition throughout the day. If you like a softer, more natural finish, this could be a great option. For my hair, I would likely pair it with another styling product to get the level of definition I'm looking for.

I'm using the Ultra defining gel daily now. My hair is normally limp and straight but with the Ultra Defining Gel it brings back my waves and curls and I love the way I can wear my hair in different ways.
