- Rub between palms, scrunch into soaking wet curls.
- Do not rinse.
- Style as usual.
- Once fully dry, shake at the root and scrunch to soften the cast.
If you want another strong curl-locking blend option, Defining Spray Gel is recommended. If you want the lightest curl-locking blend, DevaCurl recommends Light Defining Gel. If you want the strongest curl-locking blend, Supreme Defining Gel is recommended.

Mixed feelings on this product
So I got to try this DevaCurl Ultra Defining Gel for free for my honest opinion from Influenster and DevaCurl. I also received the DevaCurl Diffuser to use with it. Works well once you get the hang of it
I bought this gel on the recommendation of my stylist. He uses it on me and my curls pop! For me, however, it is an experiment in progress. It seems best applied to dripping wet hair - great for warm weather but not for winter! Additionally, as a person with medium to thin hair, I can't apply too much. It would be over-crunchy. I use up to about a teaspoon, smoothing it into my hair with my palms and then scrunching all over. I allow it to air dry and then re-scrunch most of the hair, raking and shaking the top only. My curls become more defined after the first day and last about 3 days. I gave it 4 stars because it works pretty well once you figure out how to use it.

This gel keeps my curls defined and soft. Great all-day hold. No flakes, less frizz, and my wash days last much longer! Would definitely recommend.
