My First Amika Shampoo Disappointment
I love all my Amika hair products. I need hydration and volume so decided to give this puppy a whirl. The shampoo felt great in the shower, as did the conditioner - I also left the conditioner in a minute longer as suggested in the demo. I rinsed but didn't feel the softness. Not my fave
I was disappointed bc I was really excited to try this. I personally am not a fan of the scent. It reminds of of some basic shampoo/conditioner you'd get at a 2.5 star hotel. Did not feel hydrating and definitely not for thick/curly hair. I actually stopped using this halfway through bc it was doing absolutely nothing for me.
Leaves residue
It smells amazing and the ends of my hair feel more moisturized. However, no matter how little I use it keaves residue on my hair. Additionally, I have to use a lot for it to lather which then doesn't help with the reisdue problem. I have heard so many good things about amika so I am going to try another line, but this one wasnt it.

Shampoo was thin and runny. It didnt seem to clean my thick hair and left my roots heavy and greasy.

I've heard actually very good things about this product so therefore I wanted to try it I have very kinky curly hair it made my hair feel very dirty and stringy was not happy. Returned it.

I was excited to try Amika's shampoo and conditioner but was fairly disappointed. The smell is great, not too overpowering. I will admit that my hair is not the thickness they have recommended. The shampoo does not lather. It takes a lot for me to feel like I've reached all of my hair. Who doesn't love a good lather? After using, my hair looks like I haven't washed it in 4-5 days. Bummed but what can you do. Luckily, I didn't pay close to what the retail price is otherwise I'd be way more bummed.
