I love all my Amika hair products. I need hydration and volume so decided to give this puppy a whirl. Not hydrating at all
I have long thick 2c hair. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner because i love the original hair mask. I found both to be drying more than anything and my hair was more difficult to brush after using it. It had a waxy residue the following day. I tried it 3 seperate times with no change in impressions.
Had to return
This is the only product i have ever had to return. It was way too heavy even when using a small amount. It left my hair heavy, greasy and i couldnt even run my finger through after my hair was dry. Hair is wavy but this product took the waves away and left it feeling like i sprayed wax into it. Was not for me.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I've used quite a few professional brands of shampoo on my hair. So I thought the appeal would simply remain in the beautiful and eye-popping packaging! Little did I know. After one use, I'm in love with this product! My hair is very curly! And it absorbs water like a sponge! And it readily tangles when wet. What I love about the shampoo was its ability to easily cut through the tangles. All while still in the shower. Leaving my hair buttery soft during and after rinsing it out! And yes, the moisture was still evident after drying my hair! My hair had an airy feel to it! Along with lots of body! Again I can appreciate a product that is just as appealing as its packaging! Amika is definitely a friend to my hair!
A little goes a long way
This review is after my first use. Disclaimer: i did use a clarifying shampoo before hand but it lathers so good! I was able to continually rub my hands together and more suds, great shampoo for dense, almost shoulder length, 4c hair.
