Do not waste your money
Hair Type Straight Hair
This made my hair dull, lifeless and greasy. No shine whatsoever. The exact opposite of what I was hoping for. I'd give this a hard pass.
Thin Consistency and waxy feel
I love amika products but this shampoo and conditioner is terrible. the shampoo is as thin as milk.. no joke. it looks like youre pouring milk in your hand. it also leaves a weird feeling on my hair and makes it feel waxy and greasy.
Smells sour and like plastic
I'm a huge fan of the kure shampoo and conditioner and thought mirrorball would live up to the same standards. Unfortunately, its very thin and smells awful. I never tried it before the recall, so i cant compare it to the previous formula. However, it doesnt come close to performing as well as Amika's other shampoo and conditioners.
Overpriced
My hair did not look or feel good, it didnt feel soft or smooth at all but instead it felt weighed down and still kind of dirty the morning after washing it. I ended up exchanging it to try out biolage and seem to be having better luck. For the pricetag i need it to be better than what i can get at the drugstore.
Thin and smells a bit off
I loved mirrorball for the longest time but ever since it was recalled, they changed the formula and I noticed a change in consistency. It's very liquidy and it smells off to me.
