Before use, pumps should be unlocked.

To Unlock:

1. Hold the dip tube (straw-like portion) in one hand, just below where the pump meets the cap.
2. Place your other hand on the top of the pump.
3. Twist the pump top away from you while twisting the dip tube toward you in the opposite direction.
4. The pump will pop up when unlocked.

Pro Tip: You can re-lock the pump for travel or storage to help prevent leaking.

To Install:

1. Twist off the cap of your amika liter shampoo or conditioner bottle.
2. Insert the unlocked pump into the bottle opening.
3. Twist the base securely into place.
4. Prime with 1--3 test pumps to release air.
5. Repeat for your second bottle.
