Not thick hair friendly
This product is so thick it's hard to get a good lather for my curls. I also have to use a lot more product just to get it all over. When it did eventually suds up after to work it was not a lot. This may be better on straighter hair but definitely not for thick or curly girls.

Leaves scalp clean
I have pretty bad seborrheic dermatitis. I tried this shampoo for the first time during a flare up and it cleared up 98% of my scalp in the first wash. Usually I would have to wash my hair 2-3 times to get those results. I also washed my hair with it after I took down my braids and it made the process so much easier, I had shed a lot less hair than I would usually.

I used this as a detoxing/clarifying first shampoo followed by Cecred's Hydrating shampoo and conditioner before a silk press. This shampoo was very cleansing and left a clean feeling on my scalp. It has a clean, menthol-like scent which I love. I will repurchase in the future.

[2a Hair] This is stronger than the Clarifying Scalp Scrub and leaves your hair REAL dry, so I use it about once a month and always follow it up with the Hydrating Shampoo/Conditioner. The cooling sensation was noticeable but not intense, my scalp still felt cool after my shower. It has a minty and warm musk smell.
