Sigma Beauty Eyeshadow Base Primer

I bought this instead of Mac Paint Pot, I wanted to try something different. I like the color of this shade (its the lighter color) but it dries almost immediately upon application, making it very difficult to blend out with a brush. That said, it needs to be blended otherwise its patchy. I was hopeful to use just this primer on my eyelids for a no-makeup look but it creased within a couple hours and felt sticky and thick on my eyelids, so it has to be set with powder. I dont think it should be advertised as solo use product- it doesnt work for that. I have hooded eyelids but I don't think that makes any difference. On the plus side, it is a good primer when used with eye shadow, and the shade of the primer gives the shadows a good base to shine on. I do one or two color looks. I don't do super creative or artistic looks, im not talented like that, but this primer works where I need it to work, as long as I blend it out at light speed.

I ordered shade persuade but ended up receiving the other one. Little annoying but it ended up working out anyway. The product is pigmented and glides on easily, i used it as a lip product as well since I'm a fan of a pale lip and it worked well. Overall good product just received the wrong color.

Cliff notes: This here is as good as it gets, imo. I use it as a multi purpose product, it has good longevity, easy to remove, and does not irritate my sensitive eyes. It could do the same for you. I have this in the shade persuade. I want to let y'all know I've tried a few other popular eye primers (MAC 24hr eye base, Elizabeth Mott thank me later, Milani's eye primer, and Urban decay's primer potion in Eden and the regular one too) and this one is it. The Urban decay one is in 2nd place. I have hooded, oily eye lids. OK, so this blends in perfectly with my skin tone and I use it as a means to cancel out the blue discoloration I have in the inner corner of my eyes and to lay down a base on my eyelid. I've also used it under my eyes and, yeah, at least for me, it works. I have sensitive eyes and this does not irritate them. The eyeshadows on top of this primer blend easily and stay put. I've used this primer with creme, powder, shimmer, metallic, multi/duo-chromes, Kohl pencils....just about everything you can put around the eye, and it grips it. If I put this on and go about my day, I'm usually wearing it for 8+ hours, doing all sorts of things, could be going to work...or doing home improvement projects, the eyeshadow still looks good at the end of it all. Not perfect nor freshly applied, mind you, but good enough that I'm not mad at it. It is not extremely difficult to remove either. Use a good eye makeup remover and/or an oil cleanser and it comes off. I highly recommend this stuff.

This primer has such a dreamy texture! It's creamy, blendable, and really holds onto color so well! You can wear it alone as well and it just brightens up the eyelids. A must have product in my makeup bag!

I didn't realize how much I needed this until I tried it. The primer goes on smooth and keeps my shadows from creasing all day. It's lightweight, not sticky, and honestly makes every look last so much longer
