It's a no for me…
Nope, I have tried so many times, so many ways, to make this stuff work, but it just doesn't. I don't get what any of those YouTubers are talking about tbh. I do like that it's opaque on the lid. Don't blink though, cuz it will crease. Shadows often look patchy when I try to blend them on top of this. I've even tried mixing this with other primers (About Face, Too Faced, Urban Decay, the Ulta primer, Nars…) The primers that I normally use work well, to varying degrees, UNTIL I mix this one in. It's not the one for me.
Not Good
I watch a lot of beauty Youtubers, some of whom are MUAs. They swear by this product for people with oily lids & discoloration. This product is pigmented and opaque so for that it gets 2 stars. If you ACTUALLY have oily eyelids, do not waste your time buying this product. It starts creasing within seconds of application & within an hour you will see it melting like butter if you've got hooded eyes. WetnWild Megalast eyeshadow primer & Milani eyeshadow primer work much better for very oily lids.
It melts with your eyeshadow
I've tried so many eyeshadow primer, this is the worst so far. Not recommended if you have oily skin.
It's okay…
I bought this instead of Mac Paint Pot, I wanted to try something different. I like the color of this shade (its the lighter color) but it dries almost immediately upon application, making it very difficult to blend out with a brush. That said, it needs to be blended otherwise its patchy. I was hopeful to use just this primer on my eyelids for a no-makeup look but it creased within a couple hours and felt sticky and thick on my eyelids, so it has to be set with powder. I dont think it should be advertised as solo use product- it doesnt work for that. I have hooded eyelids but I don't think that makes any difference. On the plus side, it is a good primer when used with eye shadow, and the shade of the primer gives the shadows a good base to shine on. I do one or two color looks. I don't do super creative or artistic looks, im not talented like that, but this primer works where I need it to work, as long as I blend it out at light speed.
Delivered wrong color
I ordered shade persuade but ended up receiving the other one. Little annoying but it ended up working out anyway. The product is pigmented and glides on easily, i used it as a lip product as well since I'm a fan of a pale lip and it worked well. Overall good product just received the wrong color.
