I have used all of UD's eye primers & given them all a good shot. I used to use the og 4ever- until EDEN. Eden is the best EP I have ever used. I am 40 & have very hooded eyes. This color corrects- a lil goes a long way. I apply using my Sigma 3DHD precision brush & set w/flesh tone shadow or trans powder. Eden can be worn alone. No creasing. Lasts longer than all day. Locks in shadows. Worth the $ esp when on sale! This is the best EP Urban Decay makes- for any eye type.
I'm done trying to make this work!
I've used the original for years, but the anti-age formula seemed like a good idea, and the fact that it was UD made me feel comfortable about buying something new.
Maybe I got a bad batch, but this primer is not at all what it claims to be, and in my opinion no where near how the original performs! Plus I didn't really see any benefit as far as the anti-age claim.
First, you have to wait a while for it to set, if you try to apply your shadow right away it can be a little too tacky and you wont get a smooth application. This really doesn't bother me, I typically apply it first.
Once it's set the shadows look great, blend perfectly and look smooth, which is great. But the staying power is totally off compared to the Original formula. For me this creases around the 6th hour and I have to reapply/blend the crease out. I do have oily lids, so I'll put that out there, but it's just not what I'm used to, especially for the price. I've had it too long now to return it, so keep your receipt if you decide to try it out!

The first time I bought this I fell in love with it. I bought two more for myself to use.

This product is impossible to apply smoothly. It's very cakey and does not blend into my skin. So when you apply the eyeshadow, it too is cakey and splotchy. Useless product. I hear Bobbi Brown makes an eye primer and their face primer is sublime. So going to try that out instead of this. Wish I could return it but I threw out the box. Won't make that mistake again.

My eyes crease a LOT. They get greasy and eyeshadow doesn't stay for long on a hot day. This helps keep the base in place and makes then eyeshadow colours stand out better. I recommend 100%. I got the mini version to test it, will get the full size product next time.

The primer made the eyeshadow stay on all night and during a concert. However, my eyelids started burning and when I took it off they burned even more. I have used smash box and didn't have that problem before.

I had heard good things about this. I was previously using a nyx eyeliner and it was unavailable when I needed to order, so I purchased this instead. my eye makeup has creased every day in less than 6 hours no matter how I apply this and make sure it's set before applying my eyeliner and shadow. I will be returning this.

I bought this because I've heard so many great things about it. I'm honestly quite impressed. My eyeshadow stays on a long time and does not crease. I love the formula!

I put it on at 7 am and my shadow stays til I take it off...love this, gotta have it on hand always

I don't know about the one star reviews on here that say this doesn't work because I am normally the one person that a certain product will not work for. Not so with this primer! I live in Florida, I have very oily skin and this stuff works!!!!! My eye shadow does not crease! The only time I notice any creasing is MAYBE after over 12 hours of wear and I have been doing something outside in the heat. But even this instance is rare! I love this one in particular because of the shimmer it has. Ulta brand has good eyeshadow primers too, but their shimmery one is duller than this one. This is worth a try!

elf worked better for me this caused creasing

Favorite eyeshadow primer! This lasts all day and I mean a 13 hour shift! Just love it and highly recommend

A thin and watery texture that makes my eyelids more oily. Eyeshadow creases and doesn't last. I've tried setting it with a tap of powder as well, no luck. Disappointed.
Ulta's matte eyeshadow primer and Sigma Beauty's Eyeshadow Base Primer work way better.
Allie from Portland ME
The tube I got the primer is very thin and watery, the product seems to have separated. Did my best to mix it up but it never got the consistency I've seen in the promotions/product images. Didn't work well at all and I had creasing within an hour. Applying it, it seemed more like a moisturizer than any kind of primer.

I've tried many other brands and this works the best. I have very oily skin and live in a high humidity area.

Would never use again. Runny doesn't stay creased
Nickie from pa
love this so much

I like this better than any other primer.

Now I get what the hype is about. I used to only use concealer to prep my eyelids but this has changed the game for me. Before this my eye make up used to move all over the place, crease, and fade super quickly. My makeup stays on all day and does not move. New holy grail!

There is an ingredient in this product to which I am sensitive. I developed a headache, runny eyes, and sinus irritation from using this product. To be sure this was the cause, I waited several days and applied again.....the same symptoms returned. This product really works as far as holding shadow in place all day. I'm disappointed that I cannot use it.

Didn't compare to a much less expensive product I've been using. Will go back to my Go To product

I'm on my second tube. I really love it; no creasing, makes the colors brighter, I can sleep in my eyeshadow and it's still there the next morning!! I work outside a lot doing yardwork and kayaking. I'm no stranger to heat and humidity, and THIS stuff keeps my eyeshadow in place until I'm ready for it to come off.

Love this primer. I began using it years ago on my lid, then I went through a matte phase so I stopped. Recently I got it again and it is just as amazing as before! Keeps shadow put all day and adds a night shimmer.
Mer taylor from Cedar city
Doesn't work for me. May as well use concealer I don't think it makes it last any longer and makes my lids look patchy
Maisie from Wichita, KS
I use this eyeshadow primer every day. I use it on my eyelids and under my eyes. It keeps eyeshadow perfectly in place for 24 hours (likely longer but I never leave eyeshadow on longer than that). I have literally slept with makeup on and woken up to discover that my eye makeup was still perfect, thanks to this primer!
Another huge plus is that it really makes eyeshadow stand out and appear more pigmented. I've noticed that my eyeshadow is easier to blend since I started using this primer. I also love that a bottle lasts so long - mine last months and months, even with every day wear. The price is amazing considering how long you can use one bottle.
I've used Original, Anti Aging, Sin, and Eden - I would recommend them all. I haven't gone a day without using this primer since the day I discovered it, and I wouldn't want to!
Cbm from Mobile, Alabama
It's good for about a month, but then it gets dry and cakey! Too small for the price as well.

My go-to primer is the original UD Primer Potion. When I was at the store to buy more, the original was out so I decided to try the anti-aging since I have more eye skin that I have to tighten by pulling my eye flat to get a straight line or get my shadow on without skips in it. This stuff WORKS. My eye skin is more tight and I don't have to pull it so far out to get the look that doesn't look like I had a seizure while applying it. I use liquid eyeliner which can sometimes wash out if the primer isn't quite dry or is thicker near my lash line. I am fine with that as long as my skin gets "younger". I'm only 39 and will use this now for sure!
