Shelf life
I love this product but was disappointed when it went bad. It gelled and clumped. No where did I see a shelf life description . Do not buy more than you'll use in a year. Great product if oil is fresh.
If the oil is fresh it is great, washed off my face with only water without leaving residue. If the oil isn't fresh it has an old rancid smell to it and should not be used. I've been using for 4 years without any breakouts or issues. Smell before you buy. Also should be lighter in color.
I would never buy this again
This oil gave me 5 styes and horrible cystic acne, all in less than a month. I have never had a break out like this in my life. I followed the instructions and within hours of using it the first time, I had a stye and a face full of pimples.
Super effective
This is one that I didn't realize how good it was until I switched back to another cleanser. This really removes makeup and your face feels so clean and fresh and moisturized after. The smell is minimal but pleasant. Simple list of ingredients (I have never compared to washing my face with straight olive oil but I hesitate to do that). It goes on sale pretty regularly so add to your wishlist and watch for sales! This is another one that if I had to pay full price for I would.
Best at removing all makeup
I searched for a good cleanser for several months. I finally came across this one. It fully removes all makeup and it does so quickly. Also, The oil will come off with just simply washing your face, no residue left behind. I will continue to purchase.
Ineffective olive oil
This feels, smells, and looks like olive oil. it did not fully remove my KVD mascara but did remove mac foundation. I tried it 5 times. I followed with a cleanser on my whole face including eye lids, it resulted in a sty in my eye twice. I think there is too much oil in this. I was looking for alternative because Mac stopped making cleanse off oil, but this fell short of that product.
