A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

- Q
how long does this stuff stay in
- Asked by Chelsea Burns
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationColorWonder is our vibrant demi-permanent hair color for an instant vibe shift. ColorWonder can give you a pop of color, boost or darken your existing shade, or blend away the first signs of gray. It does not lighten your hair and your results depend on your current hair color. Plus, it washes out gradually, so you can find "the one for right now” then switch it up on your terms. Depending on your shampoo and hair care routine this can last 25-30 washes. Was this answer helpful to you

Will this make my hair oily or greasy like a gloss or glaze? I have very fine, thin, and oily hair.
- Asked by Hiltop

- Q
Can you mix only half of the product and then mix the other half the next time you need it?
- Asked by rinx
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationWe do not suggest mixing in small portions as this may affect end-results. It’s imperative to your results that enough product is used to fully saturate your strands. If you do mix smaller portions, we strongly suggest using a kitchen scale to get accurate measurements. It is important to make sure to cap the remaining product separately and air-tight for future uses. Was this answer helpful to you

For male hair 5 inches long, how many treatments can I get out of one purchase? Can you confirm this last 60 days if I wash on alternate days?
- Asked by ALBERT
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationIf you have really thick hair you may want to use two to start. However, 5 inches and a average amount of hair, one kit will work. This is designed to gradually fade over time and it will fade faster the more it is shampooed. We recommend a color protecting shampoo and conditioner as well as washing your hair in tepid water. Was this answer helpful to you

This makes going grey a game changer!
This year I made the decision to grow out my greys. It started with putting my MR subscription on hold for 3 months. Then a few weeks ago I saw my stylist to have all of the color past my new grow out bleached. Over the past two weeks I've been getting used to it being blond but really just wanted t...

Iffy.
*I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.* This dye was super easy to apply and I loved that it came with everything I needed to color my hair (minus clips). The packaging was definitely unique as I've not seen many brands use anything other than a ba...

Found out I am allergic to this Product. Applied as directed, head started Burning, and itching. Had to rinse it off.
way too dark and purple

Giving two stars for the ease of use of this kit. However the color result is nowhere near any idea of the color bronze. I color my hair with Madison Reed's Firenze Brown so it's a light-medium brown with golden / mahogany tones. This kit turned my hair black with a cheap-looking purple-red cast. Praying that the complaints that it fades quickly are true. I wish I could undo it.
Does NOT cover any gray

Color applied nicely and looked pretty spot on with what it looked like on package, but did not cover any of the little gray I have.
Great product!!

More Permanent than Demi
Reviewed at

This shade is very brassy and as much as I try to cover it up or reduce the brassiness with semi-permanent colors over it, it just stays there -- even 3 months later. I have a severe growth line which shouldn't happen with demi color. The shade itself reminds me of color my great grandmother might have used when I was a kid. LOL and ugh. So anyway, I would consider this permanent hair color just and FYI.
