A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

It’s imperative to your results that enough product is used to fully saturate your strands. If you do mix smaller portions, we strongly suggest using a kitchen scale to get accurate measurements. This is designed to gradually fade over time and it will fade faster the more it is shampooed. - Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationWe’d love to help you with this hair color journey. This will be a two-step coloring process to gorgeous results. When going lighter in color or if your hair has faded to a lighter color, tone and pigment are removed from the hair. In order to go darker, those tones and pigments need to be reintroduced back into the hair in order for maximum tonal result and color longevity. We suggest you add warmth back into your hair with our prior to using permanent or demi permanent color. Our Miele Gloss is a great way to add the needed warmth back to the hair before coloring with a darker shade. For the application, we'd recommend applying Gloss first over the previous lighter sections. Let the color process for 25 minutes. After that, rinse and shampoo. Once your hair is dry, you can apply the darker shade of your choosing. I hope this is helpful for you. I have shorter hair and didnt use all of the product provided, so i have some leftover. How long does the dye last once mixed with the activator? Hair Type Wavy Hair
yes its a lot of $$ for box color, but it is well worth it.. amazing coverage and NO stinky smell. I'm not dreading having to dye my hair in 6 weeks
"Bronze" means BRUNETTE. This is Maroon.
Hair Type Straight Hair
The images on the box all depict brunette hair and a more golden/bronze shimmery result. I did not expect maroon tones by the pictures. "Bronze" is not maroon. The name should be changed. It was also impossible to rinse out fully.
Ethanolamine = hair loss
After using for a few months I started getting comments about my hair looking thin and you can see more of my scalp, I did some research and learned that one of the main ingredients in this product causes hair loss, my hair is still shedding like crazy and I had to start perscription monoxidile and take DHT blockers, I've seen several people going through the same thing with this product and have yet to see any new hair growth so I'm terrified that this will be permanent. The color is great and easy to apply and my hair was so shiny and healthy every time I used it, so I'm sure thats what distracted me from the fact that my hair has thinned out so much, but going back and looking at pictures you can see through my hair to my scalp after just the first use. Such a huge regret starting this product, now im on my expensive journey to try to get my hair back.

Worst Hair Color I've Ever Used
The presentation is really nice, but that's where the positives end. This DOES NOT cover gray hair. I left my second box (1 bought 4 when they were on sale) on an extra 10 minutes and it still didn't cover my gray hair. I had to use root cover up spray right after drying my hair to cover the gray that this product didn't. This is one of the worst beauty products I've ever purchased. This was a huge waste of money. I waited too long to use after purchasing and couldn't return. L'Oreal is much better at covering gray hair and much cheaper.
