A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

Does the Silver Steel have blue in it so that it could turn my hair blue? I'm almost a year into growing out my gray hair, but have some lowlights as part of a gray blend. I want to diminish brassiness and brighten up the silver, but do NOT want to look purple or blue.
- Asked by JCS
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationIt will have blue undertones. We recommend trying one of our Toning Glazes or Color Therapy Masks to help with unwanted brassy tones. Take a look at the Crema Gloss, Perla Mask and Sorrento Cool Vanilla Toning Glaze. Was this answer helpful to you

Will this dye completely wash out over time or is it a grow out situation? I'm thinking of covering gray, but I'm still about 85% brunette. I've never dyed my hair before.
- Asked by Elsa
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationHello! This product will generally shampoo out, though the results can vary depending on your hair’s condition. On more porous or fine hair types, it may leave a visible line of demarcation as the hair grows out.Was this answer helpful to you

how long does this stuff stay in
- Asked by Chelsea Burns
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationColorWonder is our vibrant demi-permanent hair color for an instant vibe shift. ColorWonder can give you a pop of color, boost or darken your existing shade, or blend away the first signs of gray. It does not lighten your hair and your results depend on your current hair color. Plus, it washes out gradually, so you can find "the one for right now” then switch it up on your terms. Depending on your shampoo and hair care routine this can last 25-30 washes. Was this answer helpful to you

Will this make my hair oily or greasy like a gloss or glaze? I have very fine, thin, and oily hair.

- Q
Can you mix only half of the product and then mix the other half the next time you need it?
- Asked by rinx
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationWe do not suggest mixing in small portions as this may affect end-results. It’s imperative to your results that enough product is used to fully saturate your strands. If you do mix smaller portions, we strongly suggest using a kitchen scale to get accurate measurements. It is important to make sure to cap the remaining product separately and air-tight for future uses. Was this answer helpful to you

For male hair 5 inches long, how many treatments can I get out of one purchase? Can you confirm this last 60 days if I wash on alternate days?
- Asked by ALBERT
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationIf you have really thick hair you may want to use two to start. However, 5 inches and a average amount of hair, one kit will work. This is designed to gradually fade over time and it will fade faster the more it is shampooed. We recommend a color protecting shampoo and conditioner as well as washing your hair in tepid water. Was this answer helpful to you

This makes going grey a game changer!
This year I made the decision to grow out my greys. It started with putting my MR subscription on hold for 3 months. Then a few weeks ago I saw my stylist to have all of the color past my new grow out bleached. Over the past two weeks I've been getting used to it being blond but really just wanted t...

It's okay… i feel like it doesn't stay i've tried it three times now and my grays come out by the next week. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong or if it's the demi permanent. I don't have many grays i would say about 6-10. Will give it another try and then decide if i continue. Also the color seems a bit darker than I expected.
Great color but doesn't last

I loved it initially. The color is perfect. The color did not stick to the grey hair near my ear. The color began fading within 2 weeks. I only wash my hair twice a week, so this seems strange. I have been coloring my hair for 25 years, both at a salon, and at home.
LOVED IT!!!

As always, easy application and the best part, never burns my scalp! This color is helping me grow out my grays.
Uconnic Blonde to get Bronde results
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I grabbed iconic Bronde and uconnic blonde. I was going for the look of the Bronde on the box. I did a test strand of Bronde because I was scared it would take too dark. Well it did, not only did it take super dark but it was straight up purple in natural light. So then I did uconnic blonde. Uconnic blonde gave a pretty good dirty blonde/Bronde look. Really happy with the results but just be aware it might take darker than you want so grab one shade lighter!

Not for brunettes

Does not impact brown hair at all. Now my hair just smells like paint. Do not buy if you are not blonde or a ginger already.
