Hello! I have long hair, how many pumps should I use? Is this bottle supposed to last for multiple uses?
- Asked by Leni
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageHair length and texture can definitely impact how much product you use, but with Gloss+ there are multiple uses in bottle and you should be totally fine with just 1 bottle to start! Was this answer helpful to you

Can I add my own conditioner to the color gloss before applying so I can dilute the color payoff (I dont want a drastic change)
- Asked by Audrey
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageThanks for your question! We don’t recommend mixing conditioner into Color Dream, since the color creme and activator were specifically formulated together as a demi-permanent color to provide a beautiful color result. If you’re looking for a less drastic change, a good option is our Gloss+ semi-permanent color-depositing deep conditioner. There are 13 shades to chose from (1 could be closer to your hair color); leave on 3-20 minutes and fades in up to 8 washes. Was this answer helpful to you

Does this help with greying roots?
- Asked by Janet
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageThanks for your question! Gloss+ is a semi-permanent color, so it won’t fully cover grays like a permanent hair dye. That said, it can help soften the appearance of grays by adding a light tint that blends them more naturally with your overall color. Results vary from person to person, so we always suggest doing a strand test first to see how it looks on your hair. Was this answer helpful to you

Seems to work
I really hesitated to buy this because of the price and I wasn't sure how it would work but Ulta has such a libral return policy I thought I would try it. I used this when my hair had a lot of gray roots and I should have been using a box color like I usually do so this was a pretty tough test of th...

Does not work!
Discovered this at Ulta by accident. I was excited about this product. I'm getting tired of root touch ups every 2 weeks. Well it did nothing. I left it on for 40 mins. As I was waiting, it looked like my roots were turning golden brown. I needed darker, but I would have been fine with it. Washed ...

I used Clear
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have used this once on my color treated blonde hair. I did not notice improved shine. It made my hair feel thicker, but that's about it. Did not lessen frizz. Next day, ALL the frizz was back. I had high hopes, but did not realize them.
Impressed
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I was a bit hesitant to purchase but after reading reviews and a bit of research, I went for it. I'm glad I did. It refreshed the look of my colored hair and though it's not intended to cover grays, it gave my grays a nice tint, making them less visible. Perfect for in between going to the salon for my hair coloring. I used disposable gloves and found it's very easy to apply. Love that it's a thick consistency, no drips. And no strong odor.
Repurchased
Definitely not a hydrating "conditioner" but does deposit black onto my dark brown hair nicely and last for a couple of weeks! Will stain your shower though so rinse immediately if you get some on the tub. I did repurchase because it keeps me from box dying or going to the salon
Worst product I have ever tried
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have tried it four times now trying to see if it's just a me problem. It has stained my shower so badly, takes 30+ minutes to rinse out. Even after rinsing for a half hour to get the water to run off clear it still stains your towel and pillow. It stained my gold earrings that stay in my second piercing. And the color is gone the next day without even washing again, it just faded away? Horrible product and so expensive.
Fluorescent Orange hair
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I don't know what dPHue has done, but they've changed the formula and not in a good way. I used to use this every summer to turn my natural golden blonde a strawberry blonde and this time it made my naturally light pieces fluorescent orange. Idk what I'll do in the future.
