A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationWe’d love to help you with this hair color journey. This will be a two-step coloring process to gorgeous results. When going lighter in color or if your hair has faded to a lighter color, tone and pigment are removed from the hair. In order to go darker, those tones and pigments need to be reintroduced back into the hair in order for maximum tonal result and color longevity. We suggest you add warmth back into your hair with our prior to using permanent or demi permanent color. Our Miele Gloss is a great way to add the needed warmth back to the hair before coloring with a darker shade. For the application, we'd recommend applying Gloss first over the previous lighter sections. Let the color process for 25 minutes. After that, rinse and shampoo. Once your hair is dry, you can apply the darker shade of your choosing. I hope this is helpful for you. Turned hair dark pink
I purchased Iconic Bronde hoping to cool down some brassy highlights - I'd seen other reviews from people who had done the same. Instead of a level 8 ashy beige, my hair looks like a level 7 brunette with magenta where my highlights were. Super disappointed - im just hoping it fades soon
Beautiful color, but not a lot of product

I tried the reddish/copper color and loved this color, as well as how healthy my hair still felt after using it, and the ease of application. My only complaint is that there is not a lot of product in each kit, and it was a little runnier than what I'm used to. I have super fine and thin hair, it is longer but it's not super long or anything and when I color at home I usually have leftover dye to throw out. I BARELY had enough dye to saturate my hair this time and actually bought a second box to do touch ups. Just a tip for anyone with thick or long hair - buy two and return the second if you end up not needing it.

The color had a lot of black as the shade after shaking the bottle was purple in color. If you like darker color this one is for you. The "8" you would think would be light but it's not. This color was not for me. The brand is a 5 but the color is a 3 stars.
