Saturate hair with water, and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used.
Pro Tips:
- Make sure enough product is being used. Hair should be saturated and product should be combed roots to ends.
- Yellow/ brassy blonde tones may play in effect with end result depending on Color + chosen.
- Silver, Silver Blue, Light Pink and Platinum are geared towards the light blondes.
- The Silver may turn a greenish hue IF the hair has any yellow tones, Platinum will brighten blonde hair, Silver Blue will counter any brassy/orange tones.

With Dark brown hair can I use honey to lighten it
- Asked by Lily
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi! Thanks for reaching out — that’s a great question. No, semi-permanent hair colors do not lift your natural color; they only deposit color onto the hair. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

I'm not happy with the redness of a home box color. Can I use the mocha or espresso to tone it down? I just colored it
- Asked by mg
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi, Thank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! To better assist you, could you please let us know your starting level and color? You could use Mocha to help tone down red tones in the hair. The final result will depend on the timing and the number of applications, so we recommend adjusting both based on the depth of tone and color you’re aiming to achieve. We always recommend doing a strand test first to determine the best approach and ensure you get the results you want. Let us know if you have any other questions — we’re happy to help! Was this answer helpful to you

M hair color is what my ULTA Stlist and I would call "carmel.." M stlist achieved this color for me b appling an allover foil (natural color: cool ver dark brow with aboutt 20% gra although d/t complexion and e color and warm toned otherwise).. I also have routine keratin treatments for frizz reduction/straightening. Which color of the ones listed for "Color and Conditioner" would you recommend to help maintain a carmel (quite deep) color between every approximate six week salon visits?
- Asked by Curious Cat
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEThank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! We always recommend doing a strand test first to determine the ideal number of applications and timing needed to achieve your desired color and tones. When working with highlighted hair, we suggest proceeding with caution, as the lighter blonde pieces can sometimes pick up unwanted tones if you're not intending to color them. To help prevent this, you can use foils to separate and protect the highlighted sections from the areas you're coloring. Without seeing your hair, it's a bit difficult to give fully accurate advice, as results can vary depending on your starting level, condition, and existing tones. We hope this helps! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal ...

Silver Blue Is Not Good
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

WORKED BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!

This worked sooooo much better than expected! Would recommend to ANYONE!! I was going between two other products and the ulta girl told me about this one and I'm sooooo glad she did!

Tons of compliments for a gray haired-lady!

I've used the Keracolor purple (in vivid, pastel, and made for brunette) for five years. My hair is mostly silver now with a little brunette left and keracolor colors it perfectly. For silver or gray people like me wondering if Kerakolor would work on you: I prefer to use the product just enough to get a blending of silver and purple. I'm not sure how it would perform if I wanted all-over purple, but for my purposes, it's perfect.
Hasn't made a difference

I literally cried
I am a natural redhead; but thanks to hormones and becoming a mom, my once vibrant natural copper has turned into more of an auburn. I figured trying this wouldn't hurt anything because there was no bleach involved and it washes out eventually. I just used it (on dry, unwashed hair) and it added such a beautiful copper richness back to my hair. I feel like myself again. Blown away.
I Would Buy This Product Again, and Again.

Oh, yes. I most certainly love this product. It does a terrific job keeping my hair red. And even though I have to get it dyed that pretty maraschino cherry🍒red color every 8 to 9 weeks, still, I can at count on this to keep it red afterwards.
