Key Ingredients
- Blend of five ceramides (np, ns, ap, eos, eop) - lipids that help maintain skin's natural function, reduce moisture loss, and protect against dehydration, irritation, and signs of aging
- Lipids (fatty acids, cholesterol, & squalane) - support skin's natural moisture barrier - to help seal in moisture and provide a barrier against external aggressors
- Ceramide precursors (caprooyl phytosphingosine + caprooyl sphingosine) - molecules that work to encourage ceramide production and receive new ceramides
- Lactic acid - helps remove dead skin cells, allowing skin-like ingredients to better absorb while increasing natural ceramide production

Just Okay
I've been using this product regularly (at night I'm about 2/3 through my bottle) and follow the instructions. I use the raspberry toner (which is amazing for breakouts btw!), let it dry a tad and then apply the ceramide barrier serum followed by the polypetide moisturizer. I honestly haven't notice...

BEWARE! Check your product!!
I LOVED this serum and had just repurchased a new bottle (larger sized bottle) recently. I opened it and found clear strands coming out from the dropper. These clear strands resembled fiberglass. The strands didn't bend and would just break off into smaller pieces. I never had this issue with my other bottle (standard size bottle). These strands were all throughout the product in general. I would highly recommend checking your products before putting them on your skin as fiberglass can cause irritation! I will be returning this product and also emailing Cocokind regarding the situation. I'm so disappointed.
I have easily irritated skin
Reviewed at

I have acne prone skin that is very easily irritated. Ive been using this serum daily for a month and a half and have noticed significant improvement. I just ordered my second bottle. It does not break me out and helps retain moisture. I use it every morning after my azelaic acid & at night after my retinol treatments. My skin looks so much better.

What is the manufacturing or expiration date? They usually labeled it as manufacturing with F followed by YYMMDD
- Asked by Val
- Official Answer By cocokind - Brand EngageHi! In general, our products have shelf lives of about 12 months after opening. On the bottom of every product box, we list a PAO (period after opening) symbol. It should look like a little open jar with a number and the letter M (months). This will help you determine how long each product is good for after opening. Storing them in a cool, dry place, tightly closing the lid, and using clean hands to obtain the product, always helps maintain the integrity of the shelf life. Additionally, there is no expiration date on skincare products, with the exception of OTC items and any product referring to a medical skincare concern - including our daily SPF and postbiotic acne serum. These products will have an expiration date noted on the product itself. The numbers at the bottom of the bottle correspond to the Lot/Batch number of the product. - Q
Can I mix vitamin c powder into this? (Not the whole bottle lol, i mix before each application.)
- Asked by Stacey
- Official Answer By cocokind - Brand EngageHi! Thanks so much for checking. We generally don’t recommend mixing like this. Our ceramide barrier serum is carefully formulated to support your skin barrier at a specific pH and balance. Adding pure vitamin C powder (which is quite acidic) can shift that balance, potentially making the formula less effective and more irritating—especially if your skin is sensitive. If you’d like to use vitamin C, the best approach is to apply it separately (either as a pre-formulated vitamin C serum or mixed with a product designed to handle actives), then follow with the ceramide barrier serum to help support your skin. Was this answer helpful to you
