Our ceramide barrier serum is an excellent product to pair with our beginner retinol gel in your nighttime routine, providing hydration and barrier support through the ceramide serum. We recommend applying retinol before serum, but if you’re super concerned about irritation, you can apply retinol after the ceramide barrier serum to act as a buffer between your skin and the retinol. Is the gluconolactone used as an exfoliant in this?

Besides providing mild exfoliation, it’s also a humectant and offers antioxidant properties. It can improve barrier function and boost the efficacy of other ingredients. I've been using this product regularly (at night I'm about 2/3 through my bottle) and follow the instructions. I use the raspberry toner (which is amazing for breakouts btw!), let it dry a tad and then apply the ceramide barrier serum followed by the polypetide moisturizer. I honestly haven't notice...

sooo great at hydrating. my skin feels silky and smooth after using. it is a great base for my morning routine. I also find it helps my skin after being in harsh conditions (I tend to ski a lot, so using this after wind burn is the best!) I also have sensitive skin and this does not irritate it at all.

My husband and I both love this product! My husband has sensitive skin, since using this daily it does not get irritated anymore. For me, this is a must have!! The times when I have run out, my neck & face are sure to let me know, as they aren't nearly moisturized & soft. Definitely a must have in my regime. Also, I've come to rely on it as a great midday boost and comfort for dry/cold weather & hot/sun touched days. Don't pass on this one and you will understand.
