Just Okay

I've been using this product regularly (at night I'm about 2/3 through my bottle) and follow the instructions. I use the raspberry toner (which is amazing for breakouts btw!), let it dry a tad and then apply the ceramide barrier serum followed by the polypetide moisturizer. I honestly haven't notice...

My Holy Grail Product

I have used this serum on and off for 3 years and always come back to it. No other serum has made my skin barrier feel so great! I have very dry and sensitive skin and would highly recommend adding this product to your routine.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Gentle and Hydrating

From Seattle, WA

I just purchased this serum for the third time and figured it was time to review. Pros: it's gentle and non-irritating for my highly sensitive skin. I also think it is helping with healing my skin barrier and adding some moisture. The only downside is because it's so gentle, I'm sure there are more effective products out there.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

first time i bought it it worked fantastically! it got rid of the redness I had around my cheeks. which took forever to find a solution for it. a couple months later I bought it again, burned my skin and turned it red. I tried again a couple of times and the same thing happened. I was pretty upset because it was such a good product!

Q
Does this leave a dewy finish?
Asked by bre
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! Our ceramide barrier serum doesn't have a dewy finish. We also recommend to allow the serum to dry for 1-2 minutes before applying other products. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
What is the manufacturing or expiration date? They usually labeled it as manufacturing with F followed by YYMMDD
Asked by Val
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! In general, our products have shelf lives of about 12 months after opening. On the bottom of every product box, we list a PAO (period after opening) symbol. It should look like a little open jar with a number and the letter M (months). This will help you determine how long each product is good for after opening. Storing them in a cool, dry place, tightly closing the lid, and using clean hands to obtain the product, always helps maintain the integrity of the shelf life. Additionally, there is no expiration date on skincare products, with the exception of OTC items and any product referring to a medical skincare concern - including our daily SPF and postbiotic acne serum. These products will have an expiration date noted on the product itself. The numbers at the bottom of the bottle correspond to the Lot/Batch number of the product. Q
Can I mix vitamin c powder into this? (Not the whole bottle lol, i mix before each application.)
Asked by Stacey
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! Thanks so much for checking. We generally don’t recommend mixing like this. Our ceramide barrier serum is carefully formulated to support your skin barrier at a specific pH and balance. Adding pure vitamin C powder (which is quite acidic) can shift that balance, potentially making the formula less effective and more irritating—especially if your skin is sensitive. If you’d like to use vitamin C, the best approach is to apply it separately (either as a pre-formulated vitamin C serum or mixed with a product designed to handle actives), then follow with the ceramide barrier serum to help support your skin. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can I use this with a peptide serum and in which order? Thank you!

Q
Is this fungal acne safe?
Asked by Punpun
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! The FDA considers fungal acne to be a medical condition, so I can't give product or ingredient recommendations specifically for that. We recommend seeing a dermatologist for fungal acne as none of our products are formulated to treat it. Our ceramide barrier serum is suitable for all skin types, including breakout-prone skin. It supports skin’s natural ceramide production and provides deep hydration. We also recommend the postbiotic acne serum. It treats and prevents acne, blackheads, and clogged pores. It also hydrates and supports skin barrier. You can use both serums together although it isn’t necessary. If you would like to use both serums at the same time, we recommend applying the acne serum first because it’s lighter than the ceramide serum. Was this answer helpful to you
