- Advanced retinoid (oleyl adapalenate) promotes mild exfoliation to soften and smooth uneven skin texture.

Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
Precautions: For external use only. When using this product, skin irritation and dryness are more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne treatment at a time. Keep out of eyes, ears, and mouth. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Will this work on Hyperpigmentation and textured skin? It leaves a red spot when the pimple is gone and leaves a dark spot. Will this product solve the issue? What can I pair it with so its not drying, over exfoliating, and irritating? (niacinamide, azelaic acid, alpha arbutin, etc)

Instant Results!
I've tried other versions of retinol and acne products to no avail, and this blew my mind! Left my skin feeling supple, soft, and hydrated surprisingly. No irritation! Be aware there is a "purge" with this initially, but the results are amazing!! I use this in conjunction with their 10% Azelaic Acid to reduce hyperpigmentation as well, and have been very happy with the immediate and long term results from both. If you have sensitive and acne prone skin, this product is the one!
Works really well
Used neutrogena for years (benzoil peroxide) but this works much better (salicylic acid)
Love it, new bombshell in the acne arsenal
I love this gel-cream texture. It does feel more hydrating than other salycilic based treatments as it wears. I like that it has other gentle exfoliator ingredients too to bust the acne and refresh the skin. The tube has a great amount of product in it for the price point too, another good item from Good Molecules!
helped so so sooo much
My routine used to be focused around benzyl peroxide based products but due to excessive dryness i had stopped and for years had no issues. then, as acne and texture does, i had started noticing a lot more frequent breakouts but refused to get back on benzyl. I saw this product and in a desperate attempt, tried salicylic acid again for the first time since high school and less than a week later my skin in back to being almost perfectly clear and texture-less. Though i hope this review helps, please remember everyone's skin in different and what works for some may not be what works for you, and that's okay :)
Wonderful and understated!
I very rarely leave online reviews. I generally like Good Molecules but dont always love the formulation of some of their products. But i was looking for an affodable retinoid and chose this one because of the BHA. Granted, my skin has texture and acne but its not super super acne-prone. I use this not as a spot treatment, but as a retinoid all over my face 3x a week like I did with adaplene. The adaponid in this formula is gentler, yet wirh the BHA I see similar results. Combined wirh the Good Molecules Niacinamide + Ectoin Serum and my regular noisturizer and SPF, I have redisbed many compliments recently. I am sure it is also a good spot treatment, but I hope good molecules leans more into the retinoid component of this product. Heck, it isnt even listed in the retinoids section of their website. Highly highly reccomend.
