Good product but rods take time to get use to
These are great rods and curl nice. It does take time to learn how to make the rods stay in place.
The satin is great. But they do not hold.
I wanted to love these because they were satin but honestly no matter what I do, I always wake up with them on my pillow or in my bonnet. They never hold. These aren't true flexi rods (if you know, you know) I will just stick to my beauty supply flexi rods.

Had these in four eight hours and my hair was still wet and straight as a pin. Not meant for thick hair. Or maybe it's the length? My hair reaches almost to my waist. They stayed put just fine, but they wouldn't let my hair dry.

My hair is 2A-2B and 3ish inches above my elbows, would I have better results with the jumbo or the regular size, and would I need to put texture powder/spray in before hand so they can hold better?

They work well for mid‑length to long hair and give soft, loose waves that suit 2A–2B texture without making the curl too tight. The regular size is usually better for shorter or very thick hair and can be harder to secure on longer lengths. For prep, a little texture spray or mousse on mid‑lengths and ends helps the satin grip your hair. How do you keep them secure? They are very slippery which helps tame frizzy hair but then they can't grip hair to keep them from sliding off. I need to secure them with claw clips.

Start with slightly damp hair, place the rod at your ends, and roll upward toward your scalp while tucking the ends in. Once it’s snug against your head, bend the flexible ends to secure it. That bend is what keeps it in place. If you want extra stability, link each rod into the next as you close them.
