Take a section of hair from the top of your head, place the rod at your ends and tuck them as you begin rolling downward toward your head. Keep rolling until the rod is tight against your scalp. Then, bring the ends of the rod together and wrap your hair with the included scrunchies where the rod ends meet. Repeat the process until all the rods are in place. These rods are the perfect size for a blowout look on medium length hair. I had success with them, but only after redoing it when my hair was pretty much completely dry. Can't secure rollers

I love the velvet covering on the rollers however they could use a snap or a pin to hold the ends together. I was unable to secure them with a hair tie or clip. Sad really.
Did not work for me
I'm not sure how to keep these in. There is nothing to secure them, and the whole rod isn't bendable, only the middle. The first one falls out before I can even get the next one in. I have a bonnet to use with them, but I can't even get that far. I've seen some people secure them with a hair tie, but my hair is very prone to creases so it isn't an option. For the price, I'll keep them and try to sew ties on the ends. Had I known any of this I wouldn't have purchased.

The Eucalyptus Velvet xl flexi rods are so nice! Having the velvet makes them grab my fine hair better. The petite satin scrunchies made all of the difference for me. They really help the flexi rods stay in. I created waves I've never had!
