Omg BUY THIS!
So I had some extra Ulta points and decided to use them on this. First - my hair is THICK and coarse and naturally curly, but I straighten it. I also have 24" sew-in extensions. I loathe curling my hair, and honestly it doesn't normally stay very long. But I love the mermaid hair look. I washed my ...

Beautiful result! But at what cost?
My hair is on the finer side, but it is long and curly (2c - 3a). I was hesitant about not wetting my hair before wrapping the hair (especially the ends), but given my hair crimps from being in a hair tie, I figured it would be fine. It was easy to install since I'm pretty familiar with doing rope b...

GREAT PRODUCT
I don't understand any negative reviews. This thing is so much more comfortable to sleep in then other heatless curlers. Plus the hair looks better. Maybe there is a learning curve? I never have to do my hair though because of this ans my hair always come out like i spent hours on it. 10/10.
Most comfortable heatless curler I've tried!
I have fine and thick hair, about medium to long length. I do find if I spritz my ends with a little water before wrapping, it stays curly longer. I am a side and stomach sleeper and turn a lot in the night with two dogs on my plus hubby next to me, and this is the most comfortable device I've used. I'm very prone to headaches and this is so soft and squishy. I do struggle with the ribbon ties staying, I don't think I'm tying them correctly...but the stick part on the ends always stays in place for me.
Amazzzing
I have no clue why there are negative reviews about this product. My only guess would be user error or that their hair is not long enough. I used this last night. It was much comfier than the hair rod I typically use! My hair stayed in place all night. The curls are perfect, and have lasted the entire day for me. I lightly misted my hair with water and used mousse and a curl cream on my ends before wrapping my hair.
Try it, It works. 4.5/5
Okay, first of all I have the Kitsch heatless curling set and I could not get that thing to stay on top of my head. I have smooth, long hair. Enter the Curly Tie. I tried it last night and really only at half effort in bed, without a mirror clipped this thing on top of my head and did a half decent job of whirling my hair around and pulling the sock part up. Only then did I see the tutorial, but whatever, I was done. I slept comfortably (I sleep on my back & sides), so in regards to the poor reviews, maybe you didn't need to wrap it so tightly? The clip is also small & initially was a little uncomfortable, I just loosened its grip on the hair. When I woke up I was surprised at how good it turned out. The quality of the material is good and I can imagine this lasting awhile. I want to get one for my sister now.
Disappointed
I used to do the sock method, im very familiar with it. When i saw that they made a product and i dont have to use socks anymore, i was very excited. Its actually very difficult to do with this, hair gets tangled in it too. Maybe if you wrap the end of your hair all at once it woild work, but sections definitely dont.
