Disappointed After 6 Months of Trying
I've been trying to use them for the past 6 months. I already had experience with heatless rods before, but a different style. First of all, these rods don't hold my hair at all. I spend about an hour (no kidding) trying to wrap them properly, and no matter what I do, everything just falls apart. My...

Not for thick hair
Had these in four eight hours and my hair was still wet and straight as a pin. Not meant for thick hair. Or maybe it's the length? My hair reaches almost to my waist. They stayed put just fine, but they wouldn't let my hair dry.
So difficult to work with

Im not sure what witchcraft is necessary to make these work. I have watched multiple videos, read reddit posts, etc. Tried multiple times with various techniques; they simply will not stay in my hair. I bought these at a local store which carries Kitsch products and cannot return or exchange them. Very frustrating

Rods were too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on
Falls out of hair

These do not work on my hair or my daughters. I was so excited to try them and I've tried all different ways to use them to see if it's just user error but they do not stay in. Tried them dry, tried them slightly dampened and my hair is still damp hours later. I was a stylist for 16 years and no longer use heat or chemicals on my hair and really wanted this to be the solution. Love other products from this company though! Can't wait to get more curl products!

How do you keep them secure? They are very slippery which helps tame frizzy hair but then they can't grip hair to keep them from sliding off. I need to secure them with claw clips.
- Asked by Lulu's mom
- Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand EngageThe hold comes from the wrap itself, not a clip. Start with slightly damp hair, place the rod at your ends, and roll upward toward your scalp while tucking the ends in. Once it’s snug against your head, bend the flexible ends to secure it. That bend is what keeps it in place. If you want extra stability, link each rod into the next as you close them. And if they’re still slipping, try using smaller sections so the wrap is tighter. Was this answer helpful to you
